I'm may not be a part of the ballroom scene, but it's very interesting how ballroom is interpreted and practiced in different countries. Love the vibes!
You have to follow the 5 elements of vogue (Catwalk, Hands, Spins and Dips, Duckwalks, and Floor Performance) to get your 10s in performance. Plus, for each element, there are certain poses that the dancers follow to make sure they are executing the moves in proper form, which is why their moves may "look the same". You can still add your own style and be creative with your moves, but you generally want to show the 5 elements of vogue.
@@lemonadebobby I agree with this and the first commenter though. Like comparing this to other balls like OTA they are just too copy and paste. Ofc you have to follow the elements but it's supposed to be more like a guide. it's more like a do ur little stunts/style/ breakdown but at the end make sure the elements are done. They have the skill, it's just that they lack so much creativity. (Their softness is lovely doe) And some of their hand performances are weak. Some of them barely tell a story and are basically copy and pasting some of the legends (ofc leiomy or some inxi moon) This is entirely my opinion tho and I do agree with ur's completely

I'm just curious that why most of them are dancing like as the same pattern. Ending position are mostly the same. It looks boring sometimes.

I think everyone’s playing it safe because it’s Vogue in a box
@@keychains5806 cuz its hard to move in such a small space, also it's kiki
Since it’s a money competition I expected them to at least bring it up a notch and vogue down but they just doing the same thing they always do
I mean, being in such a small space limits the things you can do. They can't even catwalk properly
