Special mention to Steve Hodge on co- comms, he is among the best in the business, and called that the game was there to be won after about 60 minutes, top class as usual👏👏👏
I love how even-tempered Matt is. Never too high, never too low. We only won 1-0. Against Liverpool. Full strength. At Anfield. But the "yep, that went approximately to plan" is exactly the right attitude. I'll get there once I get off cloud 9.
That is the most goosebumps I have had since Wembley It is also the most consequential performance since we were promoted, not because of 3 points but because: 1) we hatched a great, great plan and executed it with ruthless discipline in the face of a full strength Liverpool. Virgil didn't lose a duel that I saw, Konate was totally imperious, the midfield skill and control was up to their usual phenomenal standard. But it rarely looked like breaking us down. 2) our old players shone (Aina especially but also Murillo, Dominguez, CHO, Elanga, Yates) 3) our new players looked like utter ballers (Moreno especially, who totally OWNED Salah, but also Milenkovic, Anderson, JWP and [briefly] Silva) 4) We. Held. Out. The narrative of Salah having been off-form because of "international" travel (c'mon, Cairo to Botswana on a chartered flight is 7 hours, barely long enough to get out of a proper sized country, and IN THE SAME TIME ZONE, no jetlag). He was just OWNED by Moreno and Murillo, that's all.
4away wins on the bounce in the league from last season Sheffield Utd, Burnley, Southampton and now Liverpool definitely turned a corner away from home.
What a performance. The match highlights didn't quite cover it but the after match analysis showed how tactically brilliant we were. We are now a real team with players who are listening and doing their individual tasks to a very high standard and that equals success. The other pleasing aspect was having the quality that is Elanga & CHO to come on and hurt them like they did, squad depth is there and that also equals success. I could go on and on about individual performances but I will stick to it was a really great team performance! I suspect Miguel will be our No1 in the not to distant future. Feel sorry for Sangare! I think the injury has pretty much ended him at Forest. I hope he can prove me wrong but it has been a wrong fit from the get go. I hope everybody enjoys their Sunday walking on cloud 9. COYR

Sangare certainly will have to work hard to win his place back. Unlucky for us having three key players injured after four games.
Slots post match was great! Accusing us of long ball!
F Slot 👍
"Weapons off the bench" is now my new favourite saying

Great show today.
Great analysis
Big win today well done boys ❤❤❤❤
Guys today's win over Liverpool at their own patch is a great tribute to late Brian Clough
only thing to hope is the lesson isn’t that we’ve made it, has to be the work we’re doing is working
Ryan the Lionheart
Moreno is ABSOLUTELY the first name on the sheet. Aina second. Anderson follows soon after.
I want Greg next he called it, other podcasts have been saying we will lose this
COYR ❤
John Robertson of old
We won because I captained Salah in FPL, and benched Aina 😂🤦🏼♂️ I’d rather we had the 3 points tho. 🎉🎉🎉
I’ve got Moretti to Matt
Not sure what's worse, Liverpool's performance or Mark's internet 😂
I left my VPN on which caused the issue ;-)
😂
??????
Is it too early to say title race? 😅
Greg?
Don't jinx us.😊
