‪@dadcars‬ got in touch with me ahead of Shedfest 2024 to ask if I would be able to put together a slot car replica of ‪@AutoalexCars‬ MX-5 Phil. The only problem was I had 10 days to have it ready and I had never before worked on a resin slot car! The pressure was on.
Thankfully, ‪@PendleSlotRacing‬ supplied this superb PCS Modified Mk1 Mazda MX-5 kit with a pre-assembled chassis, taking away a bit of the legwork for me. All I needed to do was put the body together, paint it, and adorn it in those familiar decals once again. Easier said than done, however!

slot car looks good for first attempt; I have hopes for you to expand into larger scales like 1/24 and 1/18 scale, also the bigger size allows even more detail and allow more advanced methods of detailing like wiring distributors and carpet flocking as well. you could even use 1/24 or 1/18 resin parts to your advantage for customs!
