In the end Chan wasn't crying he was just tired and rubbing the sleep off his eyes. They were working for hours that time, that's also why Changbin was asleep on the sofa and Chan was waking him up :)
in terms of who "leads" or directs the production, it varies from song to song. when it's a stray kids song it's usually chan, often changbin and/or jisung. when it comes to the kids' individual original songs, i think most of the members have participated in producing to some extent.
also it's hilarious that you mention changbin is "so professional" and a few minutes later he's pretending to hang up on minho in the studio 😂😂

Bottle! Chan mostly "leads" but the others do as well but chan has the most accredited songs and he (in my opinion) probably works the hardest

the song han’s trying to get right “baby i praaay” is called Pray (I’ll be Your Man) by BTOB. SKZ did a cover/live stage of it during Kingdom: Legendary War. (which, if you haven’t seen it… omg! the kingdom performances are ALL truly legendary.)

Bottle! The recording session are guided from whoever wrote the lyrics to that verse in particular, sometimes is the hole song, like with leave, that's changbins song for example .
But even though only one member wrote the song (Changbin or Han) Bangchan seems to still lead the production, so I guess the direction is divided by cows/rap
The song from the beginning it's called Colors I think, they had to make their own parts for the rap unit in Kingdom where they sang that song with rap members from Ateez and BTOB.
Han's green hair is still something I feel like we didn't got to see a lot cuz it was fading before their comeback for 5 star before he dyed his hair purple and the green hair is only in a few interviews, studio choom performance of S-Class and recording of songs clips.
