We have not forgotten how Sunday Oliseh MISMANAGED the Super Eagles. That action lead to the early retirement of Vincent Enyeama in such a terrible manner. He might have been a good captain but as a football coach, Oliseh should remain a pundit.

I agree with Oliseh 💯 that we need a regional system pattern kind of football league. Oliseh is the best brain when it comes to football development. All i see in the comments section are people looking for a humble coach to win the AFCON and not present a pattern of football development.
Oliseh is a good player and not a good coach. Samson Siasa and Amuneke will strengthen the team we have now. This two have shown thier experiences in the past with success.
Samson Siasa has the best coaching CV in Nigeria. He can help the Nigerian team.

Great insights from the Ex Eagles Captain. He said a lot in such a short space of time. We truly need that regional system he mentioned. The autonomy too will be critical to the development of our football. Each regional president is an automatic member at the helm. Oliseh should be like a technical director at the NFF or in some advisory capacity. I don't really know the job description and roles of a technical director, but Oliseh seems suitable for the organization from the top rather than the Coaching.
Sunday Oliseh is a globally renowned legend of the game. He has earned a right to adopt and express his own approach to football management or administration, no matter how 'unorthodox' some Nigerians find it. For those who do not think Oliseh is the best person for the Eagles' job at the moment, you can disagree without being disagreeable. Let's not paint the picture that Nigeria does not appreciate those who have put in service for the country. Nobody can deny Sunday Oliseh his place among the true greats of Nigerian football please. That said, Nigeria must not necessarily adopt Oliseh's way. Perhaps, with time he too, will find a way to moderate his approach to suit the Nigerian environment. Personally, I look forward to a suitable time in future when Oliseh can return to manage the Eagles, because of his technical nuance, experience and indepth understanding of the game.

I love him as a player and person. I do not want him as Nigeria's national team coach at any level. He is not a good men manager. He is temperamental, combative, and divisive as a human being. The experience of the past was too grim to be forgotten.

Oliseh is my last choice when we have to consider ex players as eagles coach. He was there before and we saw how he divided and distabilised the team. He will not make a good coach. I prefer Emmanuel Amunike and Daniel Amokachi. Period

Please Sunday Oliseh has done his best for Nigeria as a player and that is where it ends. He should steer clear of the Super Eagle's coaching job, he is not needed there, not even as a ball boy. How could he have forgotten how he almost killed the national team given to him to coach the other time? He doesn't have the maturity and temperament required to lead and manage people. He did not cover himself in glory as Super Eagle's coach the last time; he failed character wise.

But would rather read crap from some media outlets and come here and say what they not even privy to. Even from the interview the man doesn't look like someone desperate for the coaching Job. A lot of the ex-players know the antecedents of the NFF, and that's why they will never hire them. Except many of you are blind to see what the late keshi had to endure during his reign as the coach of the Super Eagles. Please oliseh focus on your business and family, and don't let some gullible Nigerians come out and soil your reputation.

No indigenous coach in this country can manage the ego of the super eagles players. They don't have the tactical acumen to coach, what has Amuneke achieved apart from using overaged players to win the U 17 world cup. Pls tell NFF not to toil with the emotions of Nigerians by appointing these so called ex international.A sound tactically foreign coach should be employed.
