Spire is definitely for me the closest VST to a classic analog synth used in trance. I make that Eurotrance style trance that sits around 150-155bpm but quite often I like it to have a classic trance style. I think I have over 1000 classic trance presets for spire because it is that good at producing that classic sound.
Hi Fabian. Many more in the pipe line.. Just trying to balance too many things at the moment. IF you know someone who can help with editing vids that would really help.
Owning both hardware and soft synths. I can say that VSTs are not only usually more flexible, but often sound better. Also, half the time, these soft synths are replicating hardware that’s using software to replicate hardware, so it’s whatever
Kyle they are certainly more flexible. I would love to play with a JP8000 though. I have an access Virus TI2 and I was severely underwhelmed when I first got it compared to the sounds you can get from spire, zebra2, Dune3..... These plugins are awesome!! What's your favorite?
Hey idk if you will read this but how do you tame the white noise from the supersaw? I have tried eq'ing it but it sort of affects the whole synth as well..
Hi not Don. If your sound is too bright from white noise it depends on how you have made the sound. If there's a white noise oscillator, reduce the volume. If there's white noise build up from too many layers, take out some layers. If there's too much eq boost or mid to high range distortion or saturation, reduce it or take it off. Alternatively you can highpass the lead bus if you're happy with the meat of your sound but be careful. Personally I have fount in recent times to achieve a more balanced result, keeping the sound quite dull until the track is fully written and during the mix down, apply parallel compression (1-2db on the parallel comp bus) and blend in with lead in context of the full mix.
hi, do you know how to make classic trance sounds like in tiesto silence, flight 634, lange plucks, rui de silva - touch me? i never find anyone who create those sounds in spire or slynth.
i don't know how to get the exact tone as I don't have the synth he/his ghost producer has nor the processing units required to get the exact sound. I can get something that resembles the sound but I wouldn't publish it as a tutorial as flight 643 lead. My advice, Use hypersaws (spire's density knob 100%), detune 20-30cents, 7 voices (As per many synths back then) per oscillator, envelope on pitch both direcitons, LFO's on 1 or a third oscillators pitch. Layer that soudn with somethign similar with a punchy amp envelope, send to bus, distortion, distorion, reverb..
Me: the vsti is too small to see! Eddie: *increases size* Me: there's no mono osc! Eddie: *adds mono osc* Me: I'll just stfu and watch the video Spire was the last synth I bought, still learning it, really handy tip re changing the envelopes as thought they were static.
Hit.. I can, sure but why not follow the tutorial and make it for yourself? If you do that, you'll learn so much more about sound design and be able to customise the sound to fit into your track.

Spire and Sylenth puts me heaven 🤘👍
Super 👍🏼
thanks for the amazing tutorial videos..
You're welcome. Hope they help you
Tutorial on that intro bassline to sit well within the mix of the kick and sub too? :) Very indepth channel. I produce trance myself btw! :)
More please :)

Oh and play the lead 3 steps up from the bass. So I think Flight 643 is in Key of c, therefore the lead is D#.
Where are you from man ?

Hahaha that's halarious. It's important to learn the synths we buy inside and out. Otherwise we're just buying the presets
Hi sir I really love that sound can you send me that presets through my email ?

братан давай все по черзі перше покажи як ти накрутив PAD потім як накрутив pad bass потім вже показуй як Layer LEAD SAW
Hi Yande.. I think you'll find those other elements are made in other videos.
lol
Hi Geraint. Whats funny?
