I bought my first garage fridge 3ish weeks ago - so I can chill mainly bulbs but soda pops too. You're funny- bulbous I'm rooting for your chosen one bulb. Im looking forward to trying to chill some tulips this coming fall for bloom 2026. it'll be my first time ever trying to chills em. can wait to see your results in the spring. Tulips are so beautiful.

@@atx-monica yes! My parents bought us an old fridge for our garage as a house-warming gift when we moved in (10 years ago) and it was honestly one of the best gifts we’ve ever gotten, soooo useful!

Not sure if it's the same, I have not done tulips, but if you leave them in the soil, or pot, if they get wet they will rot like Caladiums. I tested with Caladiums, no water in the winter, and they survived 2 years already, but no water at all, or not even out where it rains. Maybe they are the same...?
I bring my Colius indoors, and it's been 2 winters, doing ok. Even after the stinken deer ate one of them.
I will be SO looking forward the one that doesn't match! it will be fun to see!
Bob Ross, yes, I paint, but I'm not into landscapes so I never painted his lessons but it was peaceful to see.
...squirrels... ugh! They pulled one of my little Rosemary, to plant some random pecan. Good idea about the repellent. Apparently the ones here don't mind the cinnamon or chile.
Great video! I am looking forward Spring

@@TheLivingBackyard you’re probably right about the water during winter, I’ll cover the pots when it rains:)
I took cuttings from most of my coleus before the low temps so I’ll keep those for next year!

Looks good! How long before each of them are supposed to flower?
