To cook things on the electric stove you set it to 4 so its not to hot. Also you can cook sausages on it.
And you get way more fish faster if you put the trap near the island

to cook fish you can use the charcoal grill, the wood fire in the livingroom or on the stove in the kitchen. Heat is simulated in this game
cooking meat on an open flame or stove settings 5 and 6 will char it, cooking meat on glowing embers from any fire or stove settings 3 and 4 will cook it.
if u make coffee you can boil the kettle in flames for 60 seconds, cooking it on embers or low heat will evaporate more water (cause its taking longer) and youll end up with less coffee
