Just some fyi: both long tail and pig tail macaques are on endangered species list. Due to deforestation and the use of these beautiful animals as lab specimens their numbers are very low. It is not legal to "own" monkeys in Viet Nam, Cambodia and some other countries. Did you know training these wild animals to walk bi-pedal (2 legs) is actually bad for them? It causes skeletal deformities, excess wear on back joints. They were made to walk on all 4s. Processed, "human food" is very bad these animals. It can cause diabetes, obesity and poor eyesight. I will say this lady appears to have fed this monkey pretty well with more natural foods. These folks don't "register" these animals because they aren't supposed to have them. The authorities are no longer turning a blind eye to "pet" channels. I am not saying anything negative about the care of ANY monkey on the "pet" channels. These beautiful wild animals deserve to grow up with their families, learn how to be part of the troop and live the life the Creator intends for them.

Скажите, пожалуйста, это правда про закон или их ложь? Не собираетесь ом вы тоже избавиться от ЛИ-ЛИ. Очень тяжело на это смотреть, сердце брлит, душа плачет. Прежде чем заводить животных дома , тем более, проблемных, надо хорошо подумать и взвесить все ЗА и ПРОТИВ.

The animals will be going to either a sanctuary or a zoo, as the officials are well aware they could not be successfully re-intergerated into the wild. Their natural instincts are ruined by living with humans, they lose the ability to just be a monkey---that is why it is better to leave them in the wild in the first place.

Сегодня только узнала, что необходимо иметь лицензию на воспитание или нахождения в домашних условиях обезьян. Посмотрела другой канал, гдн власти Вьетнама отобрали обезьян, не помогли количество подписчиков ( около 800 тыс.) и золотых кнопок ютуба. Может нужно платить пошлину или какие-то платежи в бюджет. Держать диких животных незаконно выходит. Другом канале было не так наигранно.
Не стоило владельцам того канала ходить со своими макаки в публичные места-на пляж, в парки, где большое скопление людей и делать это демонстративно. Макак жаль конечно. LYLY живет в доме и за пределы большого участка ее наверно не выпускают и правильно делают.

I have a questions for the community , i just watched Monkey Kaka, and Kit, get confiscated by the Vietnam police and will be released in to the wild tomorrow or so the video shows. Is Lyly in dangers or being taken away from mom by the police and released? .. i hope not, Lyly is so gentle, shy and timed.. ?? does anyone know?
The animals will be going to either a sanctuary or a zoo, as the officials are well aware they could not be successfully re-intergerated into the wild. Their natural instincts are ruined by living with humans, they lose the ability to just be a monkey---that is why it is better to leave them in the wild in the first place.

I don't know where you are but please be careful. In Vietnam the authorities confiscated monkey Kaka and Mitt to return them to the jungle where they will end up dead bc they have never known anything but city life

Сегодня только узнала, что необходимо иметь лицензию на воспитание или нахождения в домашних условиях обезьян. Посмотрела другой канал, гдн власти Вьетнама отобрали обезьян, не помогли количество подписчиков ( около 800 тыс.) и золотых кнопок ютуба. Может нужно платить пошлину или какие-то платежи в бюджет. Держать диких животных незаконно выходит. Другом канале было не так наигранно.
Не стоило владельцам того канала ходить со своими макаки в публичные места-на пляж, в парки, где большое скопление людей и делать это демонстративно. Макак жаль конечно.
LYLY живет в доме и за пределы большого участка ее наверно не выпускают и правильно делают.
