Hi guys, so this is not a typical day in my life at Covenant University as we just came to write exams and leave. I just got to capture some areas where a week in the life of a typical CU student.
Oge O. We attend chapel services twice a week. Tuesdays for 300 to 500 level students, Thursdays for 100 and 200 students then Sundays for all students. There’s also something called Covenant Hour of Prayer (C.H.O.P). Every level has their days allocated to them so all in all, you have to enter the chapel three times a week.
@@Henriettaarinze Is chop the thing where you have to wake up at 5am? Is the chapel far away from hostels? What happens during services. Does someone preach or music is just played? Sorry, I have so many questions. When I write one, I remember another lol
@@ogeo.8966 Hi Oge, it’s okay to ask as many questions as you want. That’s why this platform is here anyway. Plus person wey de ask questions no de miss road. Well, for C.H.O.P, you wake up by 5am and prepare for it. You should be in chapel by 5:30am on the day set aside for your level.
@@ogeo.8966 For services, it’s like a normal service. If you’re a Living Faith Member, the way service is conducted in the the church is exactly how it’s done in the school. A person preaches, there’s praise and worship, testimony is given, communion services are conducted and so many other religious activities are done.
