Peter's yum index, welcome back 👍🏻, cheese on both Yen and Peter's, nice comfort food. Uffizi Gallery, stunning😲, can see why a lot of my friends go there too. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Glad the weather cleared up in the later part of the day
I always loved watching sopranos and wondered what the sandwiches 🥪 from Satriale's might have tasted like if it was a real store. I think this is it! Wish I said it on the vlog hahaha
Yeah very awesome! There's some wonderful places and you always manage to find them! Shame about the weather but glad you had some good days! Yeah wow what an old bridge and yeah so many old buildings in these locations! Ah the food and ah Peter's reactions though! Yeah that gallery and wonderful sculptures! Yen talking about those statues though! Yeah quite good value those ticket prices! very awesome job!
Florence is one of my favorite Italian cities. It is a city full of history and an artistic atmosphere, and I'm never tired of seeing it. Thanks for sharing, and I'd love to watch your channel always. ❤👍😍
Such a beautiful city. I've always wanted to visit, especially as my wife has been to Florence and loved it. What stunning art the city is blessed with. 😊
It's a really amazing city, especially seeing all the Renaissance style buildings as well as the rolling Tuscan hills. Our airbnb was in a quiet part way out of the city surrounded by hills and had a small river running through. Then you've got all the paintings 🖼 and sculptures 😍 Hope you get to visit sometime in the future maybe bring the wifey back 😁
Thanks guys enjoy your day in Florence. Wonder what you'll get up to 🤔😁 we were there for around a week and didn't get to do all the cool stuff that we had planned because of bad weather. Will need to come back again in the future I think.
Had to laugh.. sounded like Yen was naming off the 🥷 🐢’s 😂😂😂 By the way, I saw the mouth where Yen saw it… 😮 (this guy 😂) Gran-mother’s secret recipe looked yummm… every episode you guys upload from Italy I get Pizzanticipation… 🍕🍕🍕🍕 but fun to see all kinds of Italian food…. So far looks like 🇮🇹 has been a fantastic trip… stay safe guys and look forward to the next vid… more pasta incoming??
(This might be a you had to be there moment but I'll share it anyway) we saw a column being supported by four turtles while driving past on the bus in florence and had two thoughts. 1. Wow could this be the column that inspired the cartoon? 2. These turtles are really carrying the city on their back 😂 ok probably a had to have been there moment. Hahaha I stand by my mouth with the teeth 🤣 Italy was awesome we ate pasta A LOT cause it was delicious and cheap if you buy it from the supermarket and prepare it yourself at home. Chef Yen was fantastic at whipping them up 👏
Florence is so beautiful and yep, so many artworks which I don't even know of. So far, I see you guys ate a lot of bread. Italian bread must be very good 🤔
Hi Peter and Yen, thank you so much for the vlogs. I started following your YT channel when we were going to NZ and I’ll be visiting Italy in October. Your videos have helped me so much in my trip planning. On the other note, I really love Yen’s green crossbody bag. May I know which brand is it and where did you get it? Thanks again. XJane
So cool to hear Jane! Glad our videos help you with your travel planning 😁👍 and thank you! The brand is Carte. Bought it in a Farmers department store back in NZ 😊
😂 I'm doing good man thanks. It's amazing being able to breathe through that left nostril again. It's been holding up really well too. There is always the worry it'll cave in on itself again post surgery. If you do have a deviated septum Def worth getting it fixed. Used to have so many things I'd have to put up with like bad snoring and only being able to sleep facing one side of the bed otherwise can't breathe 😅 now all gone
I hope you don’t mind me asking. Can you tell us if you guys experienced any racism or rudeness in Italy? I have heard that a lot of Asian people have bad experiences.
Hello J S, Culturally speaking we found Italian people a lot more expressive with their feelings and aren't afraid to voice it if they are unhappy. But in saying that we only had very nice interactions with the locals that we've met. Many of them treated us very warmly and often went out of their way to help us when we got stuck or ran into issues.
Learn 'gesti italiani' (Italian hand gestures) eg. 'the chin flick' meaning 'non mi interessa!' (I don't care!). Place the back of the fingers of one hand under your chin and flick them at your offender. Some informative sites on TH-cam.😊
When you say Florence you say the renaissance period, Lorenzo De Medici, Leonardo Da Vinci (not DiCaprio😂) you say Niccolò Machiavelli, Dante Alighieri only Rome has more history
Beautiful Florence ❤
Thanks, Please Be Safe.
Thanks Bob ❤️ 😊
Magical city, thanks for sharing!
It is a beautiful place ☺️ thanks for watching
