At 1000 subscribers I will pay for shipping and give the car to someone in the CONUS and Canada. Still working on logistics to send to other countries, should be figured out for the larger car giveaway at 1500 subscribers!
Dude, thank you for making this video. I’ve found myself very interested in this kind of set up lately as getting out of the house has proven to be difficult with the kids, but if I could crawl outside from inside the house it would be perfect. I also like how you used a screen, goggles would probably be cooler and more immersive but they’re naturally more expensive. What’s the range on these things look like? Although I imagine you’re more limited by your radio distance unless you set up something for that too.
I havent run into a range issue with the camera system yet. Always run out of radio distance first. I ment to also show the price with goggles but completely forgot. lol For the same price as that 7" monitor you can use goggles. I use the ones that came with my Beta Tiny Whoop when I want to use goggles but I dont really ever use them for this type of system. Would be great for racing ones though!
The camera you linked in the description is unavailable, do you have another option to recommend? Been wanting to get into fpv, but just cant afford it, but a setup like this would be good
The quality is poor for optimal latency, this is quite normal in FPV drones too :) If you use FPV goggles it actually dosent look half bad at all. I have a bunch of old FPV drone parts laying around, i should really rig one of my RC cars up@ The kittens name is Cleo btw!
Yeah I didnt really use any pro grade stuff as i figured i would show some inexpensive stuff for basic RC driving. Works great if you are not going 40+ MPH. I use the same monitor system on my tiny whoops when I dont want to wear goggles. :)
It appears to have been discontinued. Any monitor with a 5ghz Rx will work though. So many to choose from and the more you spend, the better they will get.
Never know, will be doing the drawing after 53 more subscribers and am just going to scroll the screen and see which name the kitten tries to swat! lol
Let's go cleo
I’m 43 and just getting into RC again, love those classic racers, don’t have race cars like they used too. Oh and the kittens name is Cleo
This was very useful

The 7” cam link is not working. Can you name the exact model you’re using?
