- Do you ever find yourself watching a movie and being endlessly distracted by the "tattoos" one of the characters has? God knows we do. If we had a nickel for every time we've spotted a terrible and obviously fake tattoo in one of our favorite films we would be retired on a beach somewhere. Our panel of artists check out tattoos worn on the silver screen by Jason Momoa, Angelina Jolie, Ashton Kutcher and many others.

I bet you thought you were going to have to wait months and months for our next season, didn’t you? Nah, brah, we’re pumping out seasons of Tattoo Artists React faster than “Law & Order” creates spinoffs. This time around we’re going to be asking our artists about the hardest spots on the body to tattoo, which styles they wish would come back into style and more. For Jason mamoa only part of the tattoos are real. For the movie they took into consideration what he already have and expanded on it
I didn't realize that until recently.
And then they covered Up All The rest of his tattoos. So only his hawaiian tattoo is exposed.

@@sallyfrench007 He does - it is The signatures of both his children - Lola and Wolf - I’d imagine they are very important to him, so they weren’t covered up per se, just covered over by The “fake” Aquaman tattoo design.

Actually part of Jason Mamoa's Tattoos are real. The one on his left forearm is a real tattoo that's actually a hawaiian family crest and he got it done as a tribute to his hawaiian culture. I believe that's also what inspired the artists on set how to do the rest of his tattoos in Aquaman. Would've been cool if you had explained that to them as it seems like a pretty interesting fact to me.
That one guy, yeah I look like Jason momoah. Next scene, everyone said I looked like Aston Kutcher when I was a kid. Actually looks like shilah buff but doesn’t say anything.

Raoul Trujillo as Zero Wolf is legit as hell. How does that face tattoo artist think Meso American is Polytribal? There are many documented codices showing Mayan figures with this kind of tattoo. Not knowing is one thing, but he's the same guy with a "personal problem" with an actor who doesn't know him personally.
U don’t know that, a lot of these artists have worked in shops where multiple celebrities go to get tattooed or have tattooed multiple celebrities themselves or have been told stories from their artist friends who have, a lot of em have even talked about it in these videos, the most likely scenarios are either that something not good happened in one of those situations or that Jason publicly said something that he doesn’t agree with but doesn’t want to say what or why publicly
