I'm so glad we managed to sell our house when we did before these new rules came out. Our first lot and fourth lot of tenants were problematic and we'd had enough.
Hopefully, the rules will apply to properties owned by the landed gentry too😊 including extortionate rents for small business, rents that prevent entrepreneurs ever getting started, and helping our economy grow.

I don't get it: you're allowed to sell the property with tenants in situ, right? So all you've lost is access to buyers who also want to be occupiers. Other landlords would probably be interested if the rent is right for the value of the property.
