alex has a very aggressive and prominent way of playing it gives even the calm pieces he plays an assertiveness. it suits his personality i think, there's a depth to the way music communicates that phallogocentrism has led us to obscure and thats what makes listening to your friends special. we like our guitarist friends because we like their playing and we like their playing because we like them. that's the way music works happy pride
That means a lot! I’m lucky to have such great colleagues who keep me humble and pushing my limits. These solo recordings are a challenge for me, I’m very happy the end result can connect with our listeners!
Lol!! Good things come to those who wait. In truth I just wanted to show off the beautiful 6-string inside this 8-string but... had to have ONE phat bass in there.
Hey man, thank you so much! This is definitely not the best piece to showcase this beautiful 8-string's extra range, but I had to include one supa low A in there haha! Stay tuned, we're working on some trio arrangements that really brings out the extended range. Cheers!
Very beautiful playing, the piece is in fact quite simple I had to try it myself. Your style playing is very elegant I can only wish to match the delicacy.
What a pleasure it was to read this, I’m so pleased the video inspired you to pick the piece up. Thanks for the kind comment, it’s always encouraging to know you’re doing something right. :)
Je ne connaissais pas cette jolie pièce ! Merci de la faire découvrir à travers une interprétation pleine de sensibilité musicale !
Un vrai petit joyau! Merci d'avoir pris le temps d'écouter Robin!

Super beautiful performance Alex! I've never seen an 8-string nylon before, so this was very interesting - and that outfit is fire haha 🔥

So...is it actually a simple song to play?
That's a definite "depends who you ask" kind of thing. 😂
