man, fi's theme is so pretty... speaking of her, her name in japanese phonetically translates to 'fai', meaning fi is pronounced 'f-eye'. speaking of names though, everyone's names except for link and zelda is some sort of bird-related name, such as groose=goose and sparrot=parrot. and sparrot is a shopping advisor; he's helpful if you don't know what's coming up and want a bit of help knowing what you might need. and I hope you talked to the potion shop lady since she's probably the most important out of any of the bazaar shops to speak to at the start of the game
and actually, you don't have to pull out the sailcloth manually if you've gone through a loading zone because it happens automatically.
once you reach the viewing platform bird statue, I'd recommend going up to the sky again; a bunch of new stuff is available. a few things in skyloft, which are things you really need to get started on asap, imo, and the lumpy pumpkin chain is best started about now too. plus you can visit beedle and that's always a bonus (especially if you step outside his shop, go back in, and leave without buying anything!!)

Ooo I always read it as "Phee" but Fai makes sense, I've a friend that uses that alias so it won't be too hard to remember, we can avoid another Sophia/Sonya bit xD I appreciate the info too, I'll be seeing about doing all that in today's ep if I can squeeze it all in :3
OH! I did also speak with the potion family, I don't recall ever going that deep in my initial playthru way back so I'm looking forward to seeing how the infusions and stuff work :D
