Elvas! A Day at Elvas Junction with UP, BNSF, Amtrak - Feb 23, 2018

A day at Elvas Junction (Sacramento, Calif.), where the Union Pacific lines to the SF Bay Area, Roseville, and the Central Valley meet. The tower from Southern Pacific days is long gone, sadly. The video shows a variety of UP trains, a BNSF train using trackage rights, and Amtrak's San Joaquin and California Zephyr. There's some Norfolk Southern and KCS power. Shot Feb. 23, 2018.
The Sacramento-bound San Joaquins haven't been running the past few years; I hope they're restored. When it happens, it's likely they'll be using the Siemens Venture cars and Chargers, so don't expect to see these bi-level cars or the F59PHI.
