I worked in a supermarket for a while and people always saw me as slow, unable to do anything quickly. Eventually they came to the conclusion I was just a bit dumb. I'm an INFP (we both have Se PoLR), and I got my license just a few weeks ago at the age of 24, whereas you can get it at 16 in the US. I was scared of driving for a long time, and still find it a bit off-putting and unnatural sometimes, though fun and empowering at times as well :)

I got my licence then crashed my car within 2 months. Nothing serious though. I've found that I need to use Si here more. I've by default had some sort of a detachment in a way where my car and me were 2 separate things... So I "didn't care" about what happened to the car, which means my Si comfort only extended to where the last skin layer ended. Try and extend it to the vehicle as well.

@@tillywontspeak I sure am, I also dont agree too much on the presentation of Fi PolR. For me it is about identity. Fi PolR is a chamaeleon that doesnt care about their "identity", whatever that means. We dont have to look for who we are, because we are what we are. We are everything that makes sense to us, depending on the circumstances. ENTPs and ESTPs have that in common, they're very quick to adapt and "change their tune" if the situation requires it. I have no problem arguing for the other side, because whatever I say, I can distance myself from it, make it impersonal, which is what im much more comfortable with.

As an INTJ, I usually say of myself “I just do not have Fe”. And yet my Fi is pretty developed... I can understand individual feelings and value systems very well, and yet what people at large feel and/or go after escapes my comprehension. I seem to be ok with detecting and understanding groupthink much better than “shared values” (which are utter nonsense to me). The most common feedback I hear about me is “I thought you were insensitive and detached but when I had a problem you were the only one who really listened and understood”. The only way for me to “emulate” Fe is to get to personally known most (if not each) member of a group, after which I can accurately predict how “that group might feel”

Infj: Refusal to wear a watch haha
Lots of procrastination and the creation of unfollowed lists and plans, yet still accomplishing most things somehow. Hating afternoon appointments as you spend the whole morning thinking of them and dont get a damn thing done. Feel best and less stressed in an intuitive flow like state.
I think an Infj has to feel like they have all the time in the world or very little to get something done.
Also just noting most arguments I've had and disagreement of thoughts have been with an Entj and Intj hands down. Their Ni is intriguing at first and feels familiar but soon their heavy Te ways wear down on an Infj soul, and you realise you will forever have a difference of opinion and a different way of living life from them (and view or treatment of others) to which you can never reconcile yourself to, because heck it feels like Te is a foreign body or amoeba trying to take over your natural state of mind and so you rebel against and reject it often.
Entp and Intp for the win when it comes to a mental connection, it's like this lovely bubble of easy communication that leaves you refreshed and recharged.
*Also Infjs are efficient and effective, it just doesn't happen in a standardised way that makes sense to the world.

INFP - Lacking Se is something that I can really feel in my day to day life. When I stand somewhere and look around me, I have the impression that I have a sort of... fisheye perception of the world around me. As if I were in a bubble, detached, seeing it through the eye hole thingy that you have in doors. My vision is fine, it's just my perception - sometimes it gives me the impression that my legs are longer, and that I'm rather far from the ground - as if I were on a bike. It feels like being in a car, like you can't really interact with the world around.
Instead, I perceive and remember atmospheres - if the light is rather warm, this moment will be remembered in my mind as tinted in yellow. If it was a rainy day, grey and blue will taint everything. If it was cold, or warm, or particularly noisy, these things I will remember very clearly

What you're describing here actually sounds a lot like Si-dom's strong "personal impression of the physical world" to me (at least that's how Socionics describe Si, I think). INTP and INFP have Si as their tertiary function, which means their ability to note such perceptions is functional but very limited. When INTP and INFP are "detached from reality" I think it means there is nothing of the physical world that exists in our mind at all. At least that's the case for me (INTP); my latest hobby is to go window shopping in malls and say to myself "wow everything here is a manifestation of consumerism" when I look at... well, anything. That's the first impression that automatically comes to mind when I look at those things (Ni impressions btw, INTP have strong but unvalued Ni in Socionics), and I have to actually focus in order to realize the physical quality of the environment around me. For INFP, I guess it would be... how the physical world reminds them of certain sentiments/values, and then they'll go on to intensify such sentiments in their mind without further noting the physical world around them.
Just to double-check, another problem with Se-PoLR is that we defend ourselves terribly. We often underestimate how competitive other people can be, and we usually inadequately protect ourselves or negotiate through a back-and-forth situation even when the other person is being wrong AND we have predicted the situation beforehand. I once failed to adequately display my dissatisfaction/resistance against a salesperson and got forced into buying cosmetic products which I give no shit about. Never again... That, or you'll see the Se-PoLR person snaps and makes the biggest shitstorm ever, unbottling everything that they've suppressed (suppression is the go-to reaction to unresolved negative emotions for not few Se-PoLRs), calling their opponents in all kinds of words and leaving them in shock. For example, I once called my ENTJ dad an "arrogant, ignorant asshole" or something along that line, not really something that I want to recall in full details. Extremely unhealthy Se-PoLR types can also become murderers for the same reason. Either way, Se-PoLR lacks regulation when it comes to Se. This is usually not the case for Si-dom/Se-ignoring. While sharing the same distaste towards Se-oriented environment (competition, noises, abrasiveness), Si-doms are perfectly capable of applying small doses of Se (expressing their distaste to other people, getting into back-and-forth) in order to restore their disturbed sense of peace.
      Hope that helps with clarifying!

Regarding ENTP's (ESTPs too I suppose) - I seriously do not know how I feel about people. Simultaneously I care about someone and yet I do not, I like someone but not really. I'm not really conflicted by other things such as in "Which band is your favorite" - I'll probably make an essay how I don't have a "favorite" but explain what I like in each (high Ne perhaps, possibilities?)

Well not an entj, but had the same experience with history
Anyways I'm now in collage and today we started new semester today and guess that - one of new things is design liguistics and teacher reiweved that we will do over the semester. And with every new task it got worse.
For the first one we need to do a presentation about either document filling or language history. Well not the best task since it will require being overly detailed but I have pretty good public speech skills so I can get by will less details when required. For the second one its the same, but this time I'll need to choose between multiple language mistakes people are doing (again not ideal). And when the we reached the third one... And this one was absolute nail.
First part of is to write 100 words used in graphic design with their meanings, which is a monotone as it can get. 50 of them need to be proper and 50 of them not really. When in a middle of that teacher corrected herself that she meant that 2 terms make 1 unit (seriously have no idea how deprived someone needs to be to say that instead of just saying that we need to find 200 words used in graphic design). When she started telling about we need to write sentences with those words. Like I'm sitting at fucking collage and I will have an assigned task meant for kindergarden kids, which is requires zero intellect and is absolute waste of time. Now as she was telling this I imagined how I was doing this, I already started feeling dizzy, but tryed to remind myself that it's just the second part of this nightmare. WHEN SHE CORRECTED HERSELF AGAIN, THAT IT IS STILL FIRST TASK OF THE TASK. At this point my headache started. Well guess thats for second part.
It's fucking document filling literally. So at that point I was so exhausted from hearing about that, that I asked if can prove to hear that I fill documents on my daily basis, but they are with other people names, so I cannot present them, to excuse myslef from that part. Well it appaers that she meant that we need to write 20 documents ourselfs following correct procedures. Well I didnt hear the end of it, since at that moment I felt like I will black out and just walked pit of class

@@AnthonyRecenello Well a person's top two functions are going to be pretty evenly matched in terms of strength and amount of usage so feeling like your Ne and Fi are balanced is not an unusual thing.
There is a strange thing that happens when people are typing themselves, they'll often see their middle two or bottom two functions more clearly since their top function is so natural to them - it's the lens through which they view the world. As a result it's hard to even notice it.
Also you could just have developed your Fi more over time. More well developed versions of a type will have less of an imbalance between their functions.

    1. It was my birthday and me and my friends had a very good day and at the end of the day one of them asked "are you happy?" and i legit didn't know what say. I just didn't know.

    3. I have this one person who was my best friend and then door slammed me for no reason _for real i was depressed and heartbroken for months_ but since then and till today when people ask me if i hate her or not, i can't answer. As an INFJ it isn't like we "have "sense" of how what we do/say makes in other people feel". But more: we feel the others emotions more than ours and then react to this with instinct unconsciously trying to find some harmony in the relation because the disharmony makes us crazy and we need social approval. I often mystyped myself in the past as intp or intj because my sense of being myself depends on logic and I strugled with feelings: only after I learned to separate my feelings from the others's feelings and learned some logical definitions of emotions I could use the empathic understand to manipulate consciously these things.

INTJ here. Fe Polr. Very very accurate. Fe is my least favorite function and the function that I am the most annoyed to try and develop. The harmonious environment has value and learning how to deliver a message/content/experience to a social gathering is needed but I have observed that a lot of genuine and authentic expression as well as truth is often sacrificed due to the fragile feelings of the group. But sometimes the discussion or presentation of such topics is imperative and much needed to be discussed to create a solution and a base line for understanding. I have found that high Fe users are highly reactive and take things personal that are not intended to be taken offensive.
True authentic expression tends to be sacrificed to bend to the will of the Fe crowd making most social gatherings feel very fake, cohersed, and even rehearsed sometimes.

If I'm working at my desk, the clutter piles up and it doesn't bother me in the least, but I have a really difficult time finding what I'm looking for if it's stored in a container or on a shelf or in a drawer that has too many other things lumped together, without a detailed division and organization of that container/shelf/drawer.

I find myself talking about things and arguing with people about ideas that I don't even believe on, and I have this constant perception that in reality none of my thoughts is actually mine, but just an agglomeration of other people's thoughts and ideas that I kind of "read" in their mind, because I can't actually stand for anything, and for that I sometimes feel shallow and empty, like if my mind is not actually valuable, and my intelligence is just a waste. Maybe the staff at the nearer shop is rude, or going to the further one gives me more time to myself (parent of small children loves solo errands). Or there is a beautiful garden or something on the way to the further one.

      Interesting!
the two things that immediately come to mind reading this is that 1) you may not be an ENFP or 2) your development has been uneven. It could be something else I didn't think of and I don't mean to accuse you of one of the two things I did, but if you had a strong Ti role model, whether that was a parent/grandparent/friend/celebrity or whoever then you could have a more developed Ti than some other ENFP.
Oh, and also it comes down to perception. Again speaking objectively, if someone doesn't have a good grasp on their character they might see some things about them and assume that they're not so bad or that they're good, when in reality it's lacking.
Another random thought as I type, Philosophy in particular I wouldn't put on Ti, but rather a mix of functions, centered around Ne.

I did think I was INFJ for 8 years before I was told earlier this year that I was likely ENFP, so it is possible that I've still not got my type right. At least I got the N/F/T/S, just inverted the extroversion/introversion. I know I'm NF temperament and I definitely generate infinite ideas and am allergic to implementing or finishing them, so ENFP is likely (didn't consider it before because I didn't investigate past the sparkly-unicorn-butterfly-golden-retriever stereotype which didn't fit, and also I'm conflict averse and don't like crowds or being the centre of attention, but when I learned that the E only indicates the attitude of your top function, rather than your interest in spending time with people, it all made sense).
Maybe it is perception, and maybe my grasp of the functions is insufficient (in my defense there is a wide variety of descriptions of them around the web and especially on YT). If philosophy is Ne-heavy then that could explain why I like it!
You're probably also right about development - am married to an ENTJ and have had to accept and develop Te as a survival mechanism lol. Maybe I felt Ti was highly valued at school and leaned into it.
Is the fact that I'm interested in exploring/delving into this but not adamant about getting to the actual exact bottom of it indicative of weak Ti? ^^

      @@meganm4877 Well... maybe
I'm more of an armchair 'typologist' here, but what I know is that that is a relationship people often have with their inferior function (The 4th in your stack, often it is romanticized and longed for even though the person isn't great with it). ONLY based on your two comments I would gander you might be an INFP, seeing as you thought you might be an INFJ and on the surface it's not far off, though that's only a guess.
All in all I would recommend looking around some more. If you can have an objective eye, going through every letter (I and E, S and N, etc) and look at them, even the ones you're more sure about and try to piece it together, then look up some stuff that that particular type has in terms of behaviors. If you can't seem to be objective about it, bring in a friend who can be frank with you (that can really help). Tests are fine, but with something as complicated as people it's hard to write a good one that will accurately pinpoint your actual type.
And thank _you_ for listening to the ramblings of a madman XD

Exactly! As an ENTJ, I’m always on the go, losing sleep, barely eating, yet making time to work out to “de-stress” (and then pushing myself to limits I probably shouldn’t)-sleep doesn’t matter to me if I still have things that need to get done, even if it’s weeks in advanced.
“It’s as if ENXJs prioritize their future self over their present self” is a very apt way to describe this. Lose sleep? I’ll sleep when I’m a doctor/successful/reached my life goals.
Also I’m aware that this is can highly unhealthy behavior and also has to do with perfectionism and over-controlled behavior and I’m working on it. Anyways, great video explaining PoLR functions! I’m still learning a lot about typology and discovering how PoLR functions manifest is highly informative.

For me INFJ, having to use Te can be described as turbulent - if I have to make a decision, especially quick, as to where many others are concerned I get an anxiety attack and need someone to feed me the decision - which I then have no trouble justifying and then calmly organising the next step.

As an ISTP, I used to think little of "people skills" but later found out that we actually need it very badly. So (with the help of an INFJ) I started treating it like a skill to master instead of thinking I will never be good at talking to or understanding people. Now, I am actually even good at it, which was something I thought I'd never achieve. I found out that our inclination to just look at something for the sole purpose of understanding can be quite comforting for others, although there is a thin line that can make it feel like we are being judgemental :/

I'm a mix between INTJ and INTP in terms of my polar function.
    - Detached from the real world, in my head a lot, oblivious to my environment etc(INTP)
    While also
    - Somewhat emotionally detached and stoic (I can become more emotionally engaged if I talk about a subject I like, in the company of others), not playing the social game, prioritizing substance over style etc (INTJ)
What I can't subscribe to on the other hand (INTJ spalt), is not caring about maintaining harmony, or not being able to read social and emotional cues. I'm almost always aware whenever I break a social norm, but I choose to do it nonetheless, as following it just because others do so is off-putting to me. Because of this, I don't really like to engage with other people too much, as it all comes down to a social game I'm not willing to play. That's not to say I have poor social skills, it's just that if it's something completely stupid, I'm not willing to play 'the social game' so to say.
My biggest weakness is in living in the 'here and now', in the concrete world, and to have the skills necessary to navigate it successfully. I have managed to survive up to now because the 21th century allows me specialize in the few subjects I'm adept at, but I wouldn't be able to survive living the life of a normal person. Not because it would be beneath me, but because I simply don't have the practical skills to do so.

INTJ, not gonna lie, I spent my entire childhood disrupting harmony without intending it, and suffering the consequences 'cause my mom is an ESFJ... thanks to that I can see now where I could be more careful when I interact with people, but to be honest it just doesn't seem worth it. Specially when I interact with people I don't care about, or that aren't going to be beneficial in any way

    • @shikhasuman871
      @shikhasuman871 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

Well, if you think that it isn't worth to be careful of harmony in social interactions specially with people you don't care about or that aren't going to be beneficial in any way... I'd say that you're focusing too much on benefits or efficiency. (My ENTJ Dad is like that too. Though now he learnt the importance of diplomacy.)
You can think like this, you don't know what the other person (the one who you're not close with) is going through or is like or is thinking/feeling at the moment. So, here you don't have to see whether it's gonna do good to you or not. Or whether it's worth or not. Maybe you got the purpose of social interactions wrong, what do you think is the purpose of talking or meeting up with friends or social groups? Is it about gaining something?
It could get subjective here. *But if you see from everyone's/group's point of view, simple purpose of social interactions we all share is; first and foremost, to have a good time. A good time that will enlighten our mood, bring smiles to everyone's faces. So when we go back home, we'll remember how happy we all together were.*
I know there are some things that we feel the urge to say or talk about, but we need to pause and think whether is it possibly harsh language or statement that's gonna hurt someone? Or is it something kind of/ very off-hand comment that's gonna catch people off-guard? Is it even the right or correct thing to say? Cuz it's very important to think before we act.
Although, I know there are always/often some people who are very toxic, energy draining or just not the kind of people we prefer to be around. So, in these cases it's not wrong to avoid them or ignore them.
We just don't want unnecessary trouble or disputes and we also want to protect ourselves.
So yeah, there's that. I hope I cleared something and this helps you. Take care! TPWK. ~INFJ

I find these personality evaluations interesting, but what they don't take into account are the variables that come to play in a person's life.
    For example:
A person is born with a personality. That person grows up with others that have other personalities. So depending upon how freely a person got to actually be themselves when growing up or the opposite of that with a controlling parent/guardian is a factor that needs to be considered when looking at personality types. There are always variables that come into play. Some good and some not that can affect how a person feels in being able to be their true self.
    Another example:
An ESFJ that lived in a loving and caring home would be more likely to be able to express their personality. Whereas, an ESFJ that lived in a nelegated/abusive home would most likely been denied their own right to freely express their personality, whereby, causing them to be less like the personality they were born with.
AKA: You got a sweet warm caring dog that wags its tail with joy. If that same dog was abused it withdrawals from being open to being it's true self into an intimidated dog unless that dog is given time to heal from its wounds by a sweet, caring, warm human being.
So when I read these characteristics I also take into consideration
that life and what it throws at us is a major influence in how one can or cannot be their true self or even be accepted as their true self.
I think it's best to appreciate all types even if they don't match up with you by at least being hospitalible.
Being kind to one another goes a long way even if you don't like their personality type, especially in today's world.

I fully agree but when you understand the functions at their core, you’ll see how they shape people on a simple general level. So for an ESFJ they have extraverted feeling so it really doesn’t matter how much abuse there might be they will always be empathetic or the opposite of it (INTP) they won’t ever be on extremes with their perception functions (Ni Ne Si Se) so they always gonna have people problems. An esfj in a hood house hood is gonna love people and empathize. But an abused one will probably hate people and may or not be empathetic. But still people related problems. Take an INFJ the same situation and they won’t have the same kind of people problem like the esfj Bc we are born with perception problems however that would look. And all the functions break down to decisions and perspectives

I don't like people "reading" me so I feel uncomfortable "reading" them, and I sometimes end up ignoring social cues despite being painfully aware of them. For example, in a situation where I know full well that the other person wants me to be more casual, I won't change my behaviour unless I have concrete evidence of that. I am unable to follow steps if I don't see the whole flow first to understand the function of that step.
Panic when I have to make quick decisions because I like to think it through.

Hello, I have Fi PoLR & I constantly ask myself "What would make sense for me to feel right now?" instead of "What do I actually feel?" I keep forgetting that emotions sometimes just don't make sense, and knowing that they don't make sense doesn't mean you feel something else.

My weakest functions are definitely Fe, Se and Si. I get carried away when I need to do a lot of routine work. I don’t have a specific memory like my wife, who’s an ESFJ. I’m argumentative and people say I look displeased or angry most of the time. So, I need to consciously put on a happy face. When I have to explain things I have to focus a lot on being specific and it drains me very fast. I’m polite, but being so is how I was raised. When I get angry with people, I become aggressive, brash and offensive. I don’t like to shout or when others shout, but when angry shouting comes naturally to me.

To define Te polar, for ISFJ and INFJ, the first thing coming to my mind is their crippling perfectionism. Their course of action is based on intuition instead of the empirical logic of Te... so these types chase after a pipe dream, leaving mixed but potentially positive results.

I'm ISFJ and I agree with mine completely. I'm very organized and methodical and yet I am a horrible procrastinator and sometimes I let my organization go to the wayside depending on my mood. I also find it hard to make decisions on the spot. I would rather make a list of pros and cons and use that to make a decision. Very rarely do I make a split second decision. I get lost in my head all the time.

I've learned that my PoLR is Se for quite some time now but you definitely put it into word for me. For the longest time, i assumed that my Se PoLR means I'm a bit selfish and not care much about other's experience rather than mine (Si Tertiary) but this makes a lot more sense!
I space out almost entirely while writing or drawing, to the point where i lose the sense of time. It's like my other senses just turn off so i can focus on what i am working on. It's easier to think that way for sure, since i won't be overwhelmed by noises and people talking.
I also REALLY REALLY REALLY hate when people rush my work. It just sucks away all my motivation and fun out of the experience. Would they prefer a poorly researched and mediocre product?
I really need to work on it though, since i can space out in the middle of a video chat looking at something else. Turns out, the ones with short attention span aren't ENFPs but INxPs haha

I am an INFP I am slow but I have noticed that the speed at which I think of the different possibilities is actually fast.
Often skipping from one possibility to another and then getting back to it.
Writing down them does slow this Speed but I notice that it happens at a loss.
But then I am not able to store those amazing conclusion that I make which makes me think exactly the same thing again some time later.

Very interesting. I love these videos that help you distinguish and compare types to each other. Not just stereotypes but actual insights here! My boyfriend is an ISTJ and his polr Fe is a problem for me (ISFJ) because reading other people's social and emotional cues comes very naturally for me and I keep forgetting it's definitely not so for him 😹 Likewise, my poor Te must be really frustrating for him. I think I need to make a "personal connection" to data or "integrate it into my own logical system" before I'm able to take it in and understand what it means, whereas he can just absorb and analyse everything right away... Even as a student I would write and draw my own notes (dozens of pages, lol, 'cause you know I love details) and read them instead of text books.

My ENTP self is known as the master of ‘on the other hand’ or playing devil’s advocate. I guess I take everything as being, in a sense, its own thing, not necessarily comparable to anything else.

I'd say having Fx as a PolR can be potentially terrible. It means that to a certain extent, you have problems with the emotional part of your personality. I can't speak for Fi PolrS, but I can add a bit more to the PolR Fe part.
Fe can be related to social skills, but no necessarily. Fe sort of takes the job of externalizing how you feel, which can lead to problems when an IXTJ needs help but cannot express it, which probably relates to the stoic point, but I wanted to go a but further. Fe is a cruel mistress

I definitely agree as ENFP it's usually worth an extra expenditure of energy for me to go with something I feel an affinity for, rather than something I don't. But I just see affinity as another quantifiable variable. If I don't have the energy, (time, money) I'll go where I don't need to spend energy. But people apparently see me as pragmatic and I admit to a certain scorpionic efficiency when it suits me. My INTP ex accused "the end always justifies the means with you" and my ISTJ husband and ESFP mother think I also fit the description of ENTP as I like to fight (but I argue for what I believe, the fight actually hurts me at a certain point, I simply just won't give up until I win, draw or take the house down with me- this is I think where the idea of ENFP "champion" comes from). But mom had to admit having known me as a child I was NF not NT.
I think also if you are highly formally educated, like at an ivy level university I was challenged to the conditional logic type stuff -- if it's pattern related like those tests or if it's logic in words I am grear, but stuff like music theory and calculus was very challenging. I think my Te started developing more in 30s and 40s.
My mom ESFP is much less able to try on different worldviews and reason why she has an affinity for something, but I dunno if this is because she keeps with Se or because she is limited by an 8th grade education.

Am an ENTP with (late life dx'd) ADHD inattentive type. It's a bear, let me tell you. The last few decades of my life all make sense now. 😂
All hell broke loose when both my kids reached school age and I had to coordinate all of our Life schedules.
I recently realized that I cannot work a 1st shift job (has to be 2nd or 3rd shift). If I am not late myself, I still manage to make at least one of my kids late. Almost 50 tardies last school year, mostly because of me. I don't know how people with more than 2 kids manage to get anywhere on time.
Add to that losing and misplacing everything. I work for a state park and I literally lost All of Access Keys and am going to buy a metal detector today to try to find them on my day off.
I end up doing the dumbest things sometimes, I swear, and I am not a dumb person.

As an INTP, I agree with this. I’ve gotten better at focusing on the real world, but it’s still hard sometimes. I also have noticed that I’ll have trouble living in the moment, making quick decisions without overthinking, and being spontaneous. My Ti-Ne is almost always looking to the possibilities, and trying to decide how I’m supposed to logically handle the future. I also can sometimes use Si and get stuck in certain past scenarios, but not as often. Or I’ll just end up daydreaming.

INTPs and INFPs also aren't really interested in new experiences. They feel that they can already imagine what it will be like and decide that way if it's worth it or not. They also like to be comfortable and if they like something they will just do the same thing over and over. They will eat the same food, go to the same place on vacation, watch the same movie, etc. It's relaxing to them.
Things like parties and crowded places make them uncomfortable and they will run away fast. They also don't usually have an interest in drugs, or alcohol unless it's something they already like. They will not do something for the sake of new experience, unless it's an Ne novelty where they can't imagine what will happen.
For me I'm not interested in sigarets, but I would try DMT for the sake of finding new patterns in the universe and gaining a broader perspective.

Im pretty sure this video has confirmed that I am ENTP. I have been wondering if I’m INTP or ENTP even though I consistently test ENTP on many tests. I’m probably more logical than most ENTPs and i have been close to being an introvert. I relate soooo well to the Fi blind spotz more so than Se though. (Even though i kinda kinda relate to that too). I can’t ever choose what I like and what I don’t like. People ask me “what is your favorite _______?” It happens with almost everything! EVEN STUFF I LIKE. And I have the hardest time. Most of the time I just make something up cause I honestly don’t know or don’t care. I don’t always see the value, but I realize this probably leads to my indecisiveness in practically everything from choosing my future career, partner, and hobbies. Im sincerely lost.

I am amazing in high intensity/crisis situations and use Te and Ti quite well. If nothing very urgent is taking place, you will find me doing literally what you said, "Driving to a faraway store just because I like it more". I resonate with the ENFP below who said, "The stores aren't the same, even if they have the same items I need". Yeah, because I'm going to experience everything about that store. If I go to a store with friendly people, a nice aesthetic layout, new merchandise to explore, a good coffee shop next door, and I purchase towels, I am going to arrive home energized, inspired and in a state of flow. If I go to an ugly store with grumpy people and see nothing interesting, I will arrive home energetically drained. I'll probably be too depleted to bring the towels inside. I'll leave them in the car for too long and probably spill coffee on them. I will have to go out again and buy more. It saves time and resources to just drive farther and go to the store I like. I'm not driving there for no reason, now am I?

    • @findandobserve
      @findandobserve 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Perfect example - he said “even though they’re pretty much the same store” and instead of using that factor, you now made your own new factor to make it so his conceptual store example now becomes a store that you want it to be “well they aren’t the same store to me”. You’ve not used the data he used and have turned it into the logic you’d like to argue (not dispassionately). If the argument is 1+2=3, you disagree. You say the answer cannot be 3 when 2+2=4.
