9:16 Nope, the iPhone's have poor dynamic range in the 4k60fps selfie videos. The selfies in general are not great on the iPhone tbh. Pixels nightsight video outshines the iphone in low-light.

Been fortunate enough to own both iPhone 16 PM and an S24U - iPhones default choice of processing to handle highlights is generally make the skies looks black which is not the case, so their processing is inferior in many occasions!

base on some of the footage from the pixel 9 pro xl. some source of the light are most likely recording with SDR. did you check your HDR is enable when you recording it?

After 8 elite Samsung will take over as videography king as well. Getting those cores will show the world iphone was not special, it was just good but the cores had a big job to do with good videography.
Beyond the fact that Android smartphones do not have a specialized video capture processor unlike iPhones, the real problems of Android smartphones in video are that, most youtubers use Macs / iPads and therefore applications that favor Apple 🍏 products (Apple files type), but above all Android does not have a really good video codec.

I am currently using pixel 8 pro. My wife has IP14PM. When we go outdoor, we always take pictures from my phone while shoot videos from hers. So on photography department, I think pixel is slightly better than IP
I was just at Best Buy and played with the pixel 9 pro xl and 16pm honestly I was more impressed by the pixel 9 pro, it feels more premium than the pixel 8 pro , and just as good as an iPhone, I'm torn between which one i wanna get lol. At 9:10, details are better on the iPhone front facing camera, but dont you dare say dynamic range is better please iPhone blew out the highlights in the background when you were paning around, that front facing camera has issues with dynamic range.

Why is nobody mentioning that with Pixel 9 you literally have to wait 3 seconds after you press ‘capture’ the photo and another 5 seconds for it to load same photo, because Google has it’s processing done in Cloud and it takes ageeeees. So annoying! All the pictures I took came out blurry, unless I was taking pics on a selfie-stick or something.
What I wanted to know is, what are you doing that you can't wait five seconds? I have to think about people these days. They want good results in microwave seconds. You can't have everything you want right then and there ☠️🤦🏽♂️😎

plus iPhone 16 pro smokes the pixel in video day and night HDR DV , Prores Log ,4k 120 regular and slow mo and much better cinematic mode with rack support and better stabilization plus iPhone microphone is just way better
