Hi you two.... and all the family and friends. I have the same control panel for the diesel heater on my boat. Forget the instruction book. It's so badly written it's hopeless. I finally figured mine out from watching a bunch of TH-camrs that have lots of instructions and tips for running the heater and it's control pannel. I have the 5000 watt equivalent heater in a 27' Sailboat. It's way too big for most of the year.... and my boat has no insulation. You will immensely enjoy having honest heat. It is a game changer. You will LOVE it. Love and joy be with ye!

That’s right, they’ve now gone to a bigger Citroen relay that’s already kitted compared to their smaller self build they had years ago!
Heads up. You can run the diesel heater on “RED” diesel. This doesn’t attract tax and is much cheaper than road diesel. Great video and very entertaining.
Definitely make the most of the Clubcard points. We do some nice U.K. city breaks with the points by Trippling up and paying for hotels. Hope you get some warm nights now. We have a petrol Chinese heater and it works a dream 😊

They make a great difference and you'll be toasty with that! Nice job. They really smoke on first fire-up and those controllers are pretty functional/simple, but you don't need to know all the ins n outs of them. Beware, that TESCO will not allow those heater fuel tanks to be filled from the pump (Jerry can advised or go to a different garage) - They say that the fuel tank for the heater is not an authorised container. Nice one stay well and enjoy.
Great video guys and a top instal by Neil though i do have a sence of deja vu but some of the people are not the same and the heater actually worked in this vlog ; ) I am going to send Will the link and tell him there is hope and not to set his Heater on fire just yet. Lol how’s it getting blocked it’s not mounted In the wheel arch . It’s under the van . And unless there going trough swamps then there is zero chance of it blocking , never seen it happen on any other one my self or any one else has fitted .

But because it's under the van road grime such as small dirt particles contained on rain soaked roads over time could coat the air intake, as you said in your experience it hasn't. I thought your install was really awesome! I meant no offense please accept my apology.
@@Mark-ct5dh no offence taken at all mate , and its weird ya no , most people think under there van gets massively dirty , it actually doesn't , if you pop under your van even in the rain you'll find that a good 60 % of it is even dry , which dose seem crazy cos its exposed to the elements , but the way things work is you don't get much crap under there , most spare wheels come off from under vans and ther normally in good condition , again unless your going swamping and driving trough off road tracks , which not many of us do . again no offence taken mate I may come across abrupt , that might just be the northern in me lol .
The van is so well insulated that we don’t hear anything. Although if you mean for the ticking of the pump it honestly didn’t bother us. We must be heavy sleepers haha. Thanks for the tip!

Those holes that are watching this I want to do it so they have heat just do now it is diesel heaters aren’t just for diesel. You can run it on kerosene and other homemade gas mixtures.

Trouble is say you have a 5kw heater on full blast it would now cost £25.00 a day (24hrs )to run it in winter on full like in a fickle spell ! That's insane

Most people cut a 5" hole in the floor. I do prefer the way you guys have done it.
You will probably want to change the green fuel hose at some point as it fails very quickly

Those holes that are watching this I want to do it so they have heat just do now it is diesel heaters aren’t just for diesel. You can run it on kerosene and other homemade gas mixtures.

How much battery power does this use up if you left it on all night, for about 8 hours on the highest setting?
We wouldn’t have a clue to be honest. We’ve used it a couple of times turning it on and off through the night and it hasn’t touched the battery

Trouble is say you have a 5kw heater on full blast it would now cost £25.00 a day (24hrs )to run it in winter on full like in a fickle spell ! That's insane
I literally use this on the lowest setting and it heats the van in £10 mins. Plus they run on red diesel 👌🏼
@@CharliePauly Yes I have one also ,I mean in winter really when its minus temps , I hear the red is being banned in many applications like building sites etc they must now use white
