As a Filipino I would like to really thank thee for reacting and of course being impressed by a Filipina singer, which in this case is Morissette. Well there is only one Filipina in Disney Princess, we know who she is. 😊 I totally agree with you, not because she is a but for obvious reason. This version is 120% better than the other girl. I do not want to sound insulting her or being arrogant but in Filipino we say "Sintunado" (bad singing voice). Well, that singer, sorry I can't remember her name, is not really good at all. Especially at the highest pick/note. It's bad. One friend, who is now gone, a Genius, told me in Filipino after me saying "sintunado naman un eh..." (she sounds bad...) he said something like "grabe naman, porket kang magaling kumanta." (Your bad. Cuz you're a good singer.) Something like that. Well, cuz I was a choir member. And we are considered the best singers in the world maybe second to Italian operatic singers. That's why I could not take that original voice's singer. There were nice parts but when it comes to high notes. Oh my where did they get her??? So our ears for singing is always looking (or should I say "hearing") good musicality. 😀 that's why I am not a fan of American idol etc. They just sound the same. Only few has something to offer such as Jessica Sachez, and ya Filipina.
