Awesome collection. These plants are easily becoming my fav :) I am able to id quite a few due to all the plant names u dropped so thankyou! Happy 2022 🥳
What a beauty coleccion:as a recomendation next time put the names on the video i love some of them that i dont have but the names is so hard😅,thans so much.
A mix of equal parts small bark, perlite and oak leaf mold or "shade mix" I've used terrestrial orchid mix too, which is intended for cymbidiums and paphiopedilums but works well for epiphytic cacti also.
Southern California. Sadly birds attacked my plants midsummer and ate them down to almost nothing at pot level so I had to move them mostly indoors and on the front porch. They are finally starting to fill in again.
Its very difficult to ID from pictures. Many of the varieties look so similar that the only way you can definitively ID is by looking at the flower or fruit, or both.
It does get down to freezing here but just barely. However I don’t leave my epiphytic cacti outdoors during our coldest months of Januaru and February as they are subject to frostbite. I bring them indoors or on the front porch close to the house where it is a bit warmer and protected ftom frost.
I live in Pennsylvania I can only leave them out during the summer months on my tree but I just started collecting a lot of the rhipsalis also I just moved and I can keep them in the window all day because I only get morning sun

Hi I love all your Rhipsalis’. Can you please advise me of your favourite soil used for your rhipsalis’?
A mix of equal parts small bark, perlite and oak leaf mold or "shade mix"

I needed this video. Such a beautiful collection! I will take my plants outside at the beginning of the summer as well. Which state are you from?
Southern California. Sadly birds attacked my plants midsummer and ate them down to almost nothing at pot level so I had to move them mostly indoors and on the front porch. They are finally starting to fill in again.

Really lovely collection. You have a wonderful area to grow them. How cold does it get for you in the winter?

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊
What soil do you use for your rhipsalis
A mix of equal parts perlite, medium bark and either oak leaf mold or commercial azalea/cammelia mix. 1/3 each
Also what state are you in that you can leave them outside
California
I live in Pennsylvania I can only leave them out during the summer months on my tree but I just started collecting a lot of the rhipsalis also I just moved and I can keep them in the window all day because I only get morning sun
I love it! I hope you can make some instagram so that we can see pics
Lovely
What is the soil you use for all your rhipsalis plants?
Small bark, perlite and oak leaf mold. You can use commercial "shade mix" if you can't find oak leaf mold.
It's looks like Christmas cactus is it?
