I'm tamizh. I lived in Kolkata for a year and a half 30 years ago... 1993.... I still speak fluent Bengali and cook almost all Bengali vegetarian dishes in ""mustard oil "".... I love love love it.... And this one is my all time favourite.... I used to visit Dakhineswar temple where i used to voraciously gobble up this mutter kachori and aloor dum to such an extent I used to question myself whether my visit to Dakhineswar is the love of the divine mother or the kacoris.... I asked Her... She gave a genuine divine laugh.... And yes, like you it still brings tears to my eyes.... @bong eats.... I'm making that brinjal in curd sauce today... You are equally divine and thank you very much
