Lmao any influencer who pushes that gets a 50% cut for every single month that the person signs up for it. Crazy stuff. Clearly just a pyramid scheme pretty much
Interesting you think theres money in ironman distance racing. In nz which isnt in the im series, 1st gets 15k, 5th 5k and 10th 1k. I guess thats the same for most of their races. Assume you do well at max 3 races a year, thats not a lot of money i would have thought.
As you say at the end, you are not a pro triathlete, most of the 'pro' field are not. It is a misnomer to call everyone pros. You are semi-professional elite triathletes, and the 'pro' field should be called the 'elite' field, because if you cannot survive with only earnings from your triathlon performances (prize money or sponsorship) then you are by definition, not a professional.
@@vozzen definition of professional. "Engaged in a specified activity as one's main paid occupation rather than as a pastime" Therefore Harry is not a professional, he earns some income directly from Triathlon and is therefore a semi-professional. I refer you to my previous point about how 'pro' is a misnomer within triathlon and I believe a much more appropriate term would be elite.
@@maxafc4695 How much googling did you do before you found a ”definition” that matched your comment? The definitions differ, however, most do define Harry as a pro since he has a pro license and competes against other professional athletes and may be monetarily compensated as opposed to amateurs. There is not a class of “semi-pros”, you are either a pro or an amateur. A lot of athletes in less popular sports do not survive on the earnings from this sport alone even though they are nr. 1 in the world, this does not mean that they are not professionals.
Way to go on the eating front mate. Keep it up 💪🏼💪🏼
I thought professional triathletes made money trying to plug AG1 to anyone that’ll believe the sales pitch.
Hahaha that too 😂😂😂

Wait… it’s a sales pitch 😮

Yeah my point being you need to do very well, this is also why most pros have other jobs because you can’t rely on prize money at all
Hey mate, what gear are you using to make you youtube videos on your own?. Also, super insightful!
Main camera is the Sony a74- quite a big investment for me, then I also use a GoPro too for the action stuff
Also, how did you get into coaching? did you have to take a specific course and then how to do find people to coach?

Sounding very confident for someone who doesn’t know what the definition of a professional triathlete is
