Not randomly. Portal doesn't lead straight to Hekapoo's forge anyway--but Star knows who Hekapoo is, and probably called Daddy for a "ride" or otherwise called in a favor. (Pony Head's obviously got other means of interdimensional transportation, for example. Why does she just float away from the Diaz' house at the end of Sleepover instead of hopping dimensions right there? King Pony Head's got a portal open downtown somewhere.)
Jotnork + ok, its your choice. But i think the show will make starco a offical couple somewhere in the last two seasons, or at least give us some clues.
I think the case is star is not gonna be queen and he may just return to earth and have the rest of her life with marco well that's just a guess and jackie will have someone else than marco like a random character just pops up and make it out with her.
the ending had me so extremely shook. Marco's probably completely changed now, because he's got the body of a 14 year old, but the mind of a 30 year old. I feel like he will act more mature, but it'll throw everything off. with Star's generally bubbly and slightly childish personality, he might start getting annoyed by her. and I feel like the fact that he now has his own dimensional scissors, and Star no longer does (unless at some point Hekapoo gave her a pair) is really gonna change the way they do their missions. maybe Marco's gonna start being more of a solo badass rather than just being Star's sidekick, and that can be both good and bad. either, I'm way too excited to see where this goes.
Whether he has the mind of a 30 year old is uncertain. He has 30 years worth of memories, but his brain physically reverted to 14 years old just like the rest of his body. Biologically the brain of an adolescent is different from the brain of an adult. Also, Marco didn't exactly become mature in those 16 years chasing Hekapoo. He became a total badass, but he was very much acting like a kid there when reunited with Star.

I'm very curious as to seeing if Marco will keep all of his skills such as sword fighting or pro biking scince he rode on nachos for awhile or any other skills but if he keeps them he would be such a badass and mabye better than star which would be legit
If anything Starco was more reinforced here. He spent more time in that dimension than he did on Earth. Who knows what horrors he saw. He even wanted to stay. Yet all it took was Star saying "or me" to get him to change his mind and come back... For her.

Maybe.. But he was probably without a computer in Hekapoo's dimension so it felt weird to see it again, and walking the dogs was a simple task to help him readjust to life. After all his hardcore chasing Hekapoo and learning ancient texts, only to be thrown back into his 14 year old body, poor guy probably wanted to calm down and do something more easy going.
Imma call it now. Marco is gonna be a lot more kick ass and mature even more than he already was. Plus he KNOWS how to sword fight and even though he's back in his 14 year old body doesn't mean he forgot his experiences. So I theorize that the falling out we predict will be because he got more adult than the others and started to get independent from his friends.
Good question, maybe he had Buff Frog earn them for him? Buff Frog was the first one seen using that specific pair, and he is quite certainly the most capable of Ludo's old army. Or he just found them and started using them, I mean it did take quite spastic usage from Marco before Hekapoo realized something was wrong.
to be fair, it seems like everyone in magical dimensions have scissors. remember Saint Olga's? every princess had scissors when they entered, and it would seem unlikely for all of them to go through an epic quest to truly earn them. it's not like dimensional scissors are hard to obtain. I assume it could be that all the royal families own scissors without having to work to get them, but I dunno. maybe it'll be explained better in a future episode.
That feeling when you wake up eight minutes later in a room you left sixteen years ago. Hah! ...California micro-climates. You just know that park's not even six blocks away. (Also, Willoughby and Lydia in the park!) ...Wait, does this mean Ludo earned his scissors? Or did the little creep steal 'em? Suddenly I have questions about a character not even in the episode. Dude lived in a castle, had fancy (if traumatic) birthday parties, possessed these scissors that turn out to be not quite as ubiquitous as we thought...was his family the last native Mewni royalty? What did the Butterflies DO to them? How did he end up...you know, Ludo? I don't ship Marco with her--Starco to the end, baby!--but who doesn't love Hekapoo? Everyone mentions Marceline but my immediate vibe was (Imp) Midna: cute, physically impossible, capricious and never never ever to be taken for granted if you value your singed scalp. Already loved her in Page Turner and here she gets all playful and saucy and DAT EYE AND DAT VOICE THO. Marco keeps the Mark of Hekapoo and his ear piercings, so I'll assume the tattoos stayed too. Have fun explaining all those to Mom, Marco.

This was definitely a segment that I think plunged my brain into a weird place of questioning. That concept of having lived 16 years in another dimension, and then returning to a timeline/place where you've been gone only minutes? That last scene with him looking around his room, and Brian H Kim's music...it shakes me a bit everytime I see it. I think that guitar bit may be one of my new pieces. Even when it's used with strings, as Marco opened the scissors and saw Star reflected in the blades. Still trying to decide if the proper definition for Hekapoo is as a demoness, or a trickster, given she gave him a task to do. I think this segment tied into something that always bugged or stuck with me from cartoons growing up. I was always a bit sad for those characters sent to alternate dimensions or storylines on adventure, but then were never able to return to their own time. Though in one series, the characters did come home, but found if they stayed, creatures and baddies from their realm would follow, and so, they made the decision to return to the alternate world.
I can't even imagine.. How surreal would that be? Brian makes some amazing scores for this show. Like, no lie, his music gives this show a whole nother dimensional layer of depth. Maybe a bit of both. OOF those things hurt me the most. Like with the Doctor.. Aye aye aye those are such tricky episodes to pull away from without feeling sad or changed in some way.
Oh man, the final season of "The Smurfs" when I was a kid was pretty painful in that way. A handful of Smurfs was sent hurtling through time and other dimensions, and that was the last of the series...leaving us to wonder if Papa Smurf and those who went with him ever returned to their time! PURE TORTURE!!!
I think that, at least in most dimensions, time passes equally. I mean, the whole concept of interdimensional calls on the mirror would not work out very well if that wasn't the case. That probably is particular to Heckapoo's dimension, or at least to a few dimensions. Anyway, love this episode! They did a really good job with older Marco, I would totally ship him with me if I were gay, and I don't even mind saying that

That happened once in season 1, when Star was talking to her mom on the magic mirror and trying to pretend the dimensional scissors were just regular Earth scissors. They cut the paper but also formed a portal.
