Great ideas - I think a lot of people are somewhat apprehensive because it seems difficult when you don't know how so thanks for the instructions showing how easy the whole thing can be.
holy jesus... i just found your channel today, and i have to say this is amazing information, it's what i've been looking for, for 2 years now... truly thank you
Liviu Cocioc Your search is over :) glad you stumbled upon my channel, and thank you for the comment! You can check out my blog as well, including tons of really great tips and tricks from my partners Camille and TAylor at spicypresentations.com.
I finally found you. Been trying to find something like this for ages. I forgot you can make animations in Powerpoint. I remember I made a whole animation in school but then over 10 years later forget how I did any of it lol. Thanks.
+NinjaMarketing Great, the quest is over! :) You've come to the right place to learn (and relearn!) animations. That's impressive that you were making an animation school over 10 years ago - you are very progressive! I'm sure you'll remember very quickly.
Really great Lia, thanks so much for sharing. It really shows off how powerful the program is, if you dig a little deeper and don't fear the multiple layers, timing etc. Quite awesome.
Jim Dustin Thanks, Jim! Yes, if you really dive into the different animation options, you can come up with some very interesting things! Glad you enjoyed!
PureLove ParisHills Excellent! This is exactly why I love showing these techniques, as it can do a lot more than most people think :). Thanks for the comment, PureLove!
Awesome ! So good of you to share your knowledge with everyone on TH-cam Just go to try these tips out for myself and also watch other of your videos to learn even more Keep up the Great work
Super - really glad you enjoyed the video, Graham, and nice comments like yours make it all worth the effort :). Yes, definitely check out my other videos, and I'm also starting a blog, which is in early stages, but the link is in my About me page.
Hi Susan - awesome - I really appreciate that you've subscribed :). Feel free to check out my other videos as well if you like cool animation techniques. Thank you for the comment!
Hello! When I first saw your channel, I was so happy because we use PPT in school, and I will be the coolest PPT kid. I was very happy! I want to use it in our PPT project! Loveyou!
Rai Alegre That's fantastic! Yes, you will be the coolest presenter in your class if you use some of these tricks :). Feel free to check out my other videos so you can see some other tricks too. Thanks, Rai, and good luck with your projects!
something went wrong with me i didn't find the buttom to edit my face in the moment 3:27 from the video in my version of Crazytalk should I download another version or what should i do :/
Hmmm that's weird - what version are you using? This feature is in the 2.1 version, which is the latest one. Also, make sure that you are in the character editing mode (not the stage mode). I sometimes tried to edit the face while being in stage mode and I forgot that I had to go to character mode.
PowerPoint Spice thanks for the explication i am using 2.0 version but it's look as yours (in the video ) all the steps except the one that i mentioned before i downloaded it from extratorrent.cc site to get the full version i'll try to download the version 2.1 thanks for guiding me and all the tricks that you show us i really advanced because of you my greeting
Ana Ibrahim Yes, I think that's the issue because I believe that feature was added in version 2.1. The other way to do it is to use PPT's background removal feature to isolate your face (if you have 2010 and later), then right click and save that as a picture, then import to CrazyTalk Animator. That way, you can just do the face fitting and not worry about cutting out the face. Good luck with that - hope it works for you!
This was excellent!!! Thanks for sharing your PPT and Crazy Talk Animator expertise with us. I've had Crazy Talk Animator for over a year and have not used it successfully. Your explanation was so clear that I will now try it again. Will you please add other Crazy Talk tutorials? Thanks.
yvonne mcdonald That's awesome that you have CrazyTalk! It's definitely a great program to use in conjunction with PPT. Yes, just try making a simple animated character of yourself, and hopefully that will inspire you to keep exploring it :). There are also lots of really good tutorials on TH-cam from Reallusion for further inspiration. I'm definitely planning to do more on CrazyTalk but have a few other things in the pipeline before I do that. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I have to make a presentation at work about myself. Can I make this crazyface animation on my phone and forward to PowerPoint on my work computer tomorrow?
John Lord Laurente Thanks, John! More is in the pipeline :)... I am also starting a blog at spicypresentations dot com -- in which i'll be putting step-by-step outlines to all my videos, and a lot more. It's still in very early stages (not too much there) but feel free to check out if you're interested.
If you need it quickly and don't have time to learn yourself - you might see if you can find someone on fiverr to do it cheaply. But in the long run it'll be fun if you can learn yourself too. Thanks for the comment, Samar!
Hello, Lia! Congratulations on your channel. I always get inspired when watch your videos. Your tutorials have helped me a lot. Whenever I want to learn a new trick, I check your channel. I've used most of the tricks you've explained and people usually praise my presentations and videos made by using PPT. My favorites tutorials of yours are: "How to Make 3D Pop-out", ''Photo Mosaic Design Animation", and of course this one. I'm looking forward to watch your next video.
Anderson Santos Thanks, Anderson! What a nice and thoughtful comment! This is exactly why I put out my videos - so awesome people like you can make more interesting presentations for your audiences, and it's great to hear that they're enjoying them! I've actually just released another one so feel free to check out at your convenience!
Yes, the trial version lets you play around with the software but there is a watermark there in the files. You will have to get the full version for it to disappear. They do this so that people don't just use the software in their projects without purchasing. Here is more info: faq.reallusion.com/index.php?action=article&cat_id=011002001002&id=599
ok thanks, one question. Is it possible for the slide to advance automatically after a video has finished? by the way, my video plays across slides just wondering...
Wow, I knew you could do stop motion with a Nintendo DSi and Windows Movie Maker, or even a regular camera and Windows 10 Photos (or Video Editor, or Story Remix, or whatever it is), but the fact that you can animate in Powerpoint is pretty interesting! The only problem is that if you have enough syllables or individual phonemes in a single line, PowerPoint begins to slow down when loading that slide, resulting in some of the starting animations getting cut off. This also causes any audio that you try to sync with the photos to be out of alignment with the visuals of the animation.
Can you show how to make a videoscribe effect. I know its importing a wmf picture file, ungrouping each component of the picture and doing a wipe effect with each component... but when I import a wmf file it converts to a jpg or such so that I cannot ungroup the picture elements.
abadplanner1 Hmmmm it sounds like it's a conversion / import process that's messing it up somehow. HAve you tried importing in other ways (for example, using "insert" feature or dragging and dropping it in?) if you're using cut/paste for instance, that will probably mess it up.
Hey!! How do I do this- my background is completely animated, I am not animated, but in my animation video I should be able to interact with the animated stuff. I' m sorry if I've not put it in a right way. Please help.
I tried many times to insert online pictures from Bing.... but none of the pictures can be manipulated... failed to ungroup. Do you have any recommendation?
that is owsom vedeio mam can u share please what software you used for screen recording please , becosue i m educationist and i have need for my class , its request.
Hi there! Thanks for the question Muhammad - I use both camstudio (free) and camtasia (not free but has a good editor). I'd check out camstudio and see if that meets your needs - good luck!
+Mansour Noor Hmmm not sure, but if you scroll down in this page where it compares the different versions, it says you have to download the 2nd resource pack to unlock 60% of the content - some features are not available though so those avatars might not be included. www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/animator/animator_trial.aspx
You are amazing!Well done once more!!!However even If I find a free vector image and convert it into an emf file so that my ppt 2010 can open it, there is sth wrong and I usually see half the image or nothing.I don't know why. When office clip art was available I could do so many things as you have suggested in your tutorials. But now illustrations in ppt do not exist anymore... :( Still, I enjoy watching this tutorial.!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the feedback! Office clipart is actually still available via this backdoor link that I've saved in my favorites :) - that's where I got all my images for this video - i'll try to paste it here: office.microsoft.com/en-ca/images/results.aspx?qu=test&ex=1 For other vector images, have you tried to use EPS files? You can see how to work with them here - th-cam.com/video/Jp1_qhBBRrc/w-d-xo.html Let me know if that helps!
Thank you for the microsoft link, I thought I lost it forever.I tried to work with eps, here is a link with some ai and eps files all-free-download.com/ which you may find useful. As for me, it seems that an error occurs when I try to insert an eps file, just my luck!!!!Thanks for the tip however. You are great!!!!Check the site if you haven't discovered it yet!!!Always a big fan of your tutorials!I have purchased the crazy talk animator standard to see how it works, we'll see!Keep up with the good work!!!Bye bye!!!Happy new year!
Gabe Braun Try going to openclipart.org - that's the best free vector site I've been able to find so far, though it's not as great as MS's used to be! :/

+PowerPoint Spice I got it of google I gave up anyway using sony vegas pro atm
My PowerPoint isn't allowing me to open the Animations for some reason. Do I need to go to settings somehow and click to get it to open? Any ideas?
smile4alifetime That's so bizarre - I've never heard of that! Are you talking about the animations tab or the animation pane?
Hi sorry it's taken so long to get back to you. In the task bar at the top of the page.
smile4alifetime Very strange! Why don't you go to File - Options - and then go to Customize Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) then add the "add animation" option. That should hopefully allow you to add animations.
excellent
