- An overnight trip to Lake Mulwala fishing for Murray Cod produced the fish I had been searching for.

What is the live sonar setup are you using and is there any issues you don't like about it ?
Thanks mate! I'm running a garmin lovescope plus transducer on a gfab pole. The head unit is an echomap 125sv. The only complaint I have is I can't screen record live with the echomap unit (you can with gpsmap) but that is only because I'm making videos and I think having a clear image of the screen would improve the vids

constantly dropping lures on large Cod is not going to help the 'future of fishing' - I can see see them being banned soon when fishing some of the Aussie lakes

@@fishing.Aussie I'm still catching fish on the banks where over half the fisherman have live scope. The fishing declined because of number of fisherman more than it has because of technology. Just because I don't think it should be allowed in tournaments doesn't mean I can't appreciate seeing big fish caught for fun that otherwise wouldn't be caught and this looked like a pretty sweet place to find giants with or without it just spending far more time doing it without the live scope
