I'm not really into death metal as much as I was 10 years ago (I'm 39 now), but Immolation has always been elite and they still are. They just never cease to amaze me with their talent. Along with Suffocation, these guys are true epic legends and deserve the utmost of respect for they are serious artists.

Dude, this song totally kicks ass. IMMOLATION is a death metal legend, they're just amazing. And Bob Vigna has the greatest tone to create "death" atmosphere. he's underrated.

They are definitely their own breed of death metal. I have one of their albums "Shadows in the Light" and it really stands alone. I've been searching for mor at used bookstores. They have a lot of albums.

Underrated drummer, fucking underrated guitarist.
I discovered this band two years ago by seeing them live at a festival. I stood there in disbelief at how good they were. Since then I have learned every album and seen them live three times. Utterly obsessed.
I'm the exact same way, I pretty much completely nerd out like a fan girl every time I ever see them or meet them. I have met and talked to Ross like 5 times

I love the emotion in this song, you can really feel the darkness and emptiness the song expresses. The video is simple but extremely good as well.
What i can say about this - BRUTAL!!!! Perfect guitar riffs, Epic voice, Good drums!
Had a great time hanging out with these dudes on 70,000tons of metal this year. Much respect to them, very down to earth and very kind to their fans. Cheers guys, see you next time.

Honestly, the oppressive tone of the drums is the absolute best thing about this track. The vocal, guitar work solos and everything are all fantastic, but that drum work just ties it all together

little tip ... if you want it to grow more cut its tips every once in a while and it will keep on growing otherwise the hair gets weak and splits in half preventing it from growing more

So, which Immolation album should i start with, diehard fans? need some suggestions.
In my opinion they made no bad album, so you can take the first Immolation album you find and enjoy it without reading the tracklist. My favorite ones are "Close to a world below" and their debut album "Dawn of possession".
For start you can also try the EP "Providence", is free to download.
i personally think their best is Here in After,their style is pretty much the same on all their albums though

The latest BMTH album sounds pretty nu metal. There are still a lot nu metal bands they just don't label themselves as nu metal anymore for whatever reason.
