- Facebook announced that they will discontinue support for the Facebook Groups API on April 22nd 2024. This means you will no longer be able to stream directly into your groups using any streaming software. Instead, here a three ways you can still live stream to your Facebook Groups with StreamYard.

This is such bs that fb group integrations was taken away from us.
Thank you so much this is awesome! I have been so concerned.
Is there a video on how to use a pre-recorded video in the On Air Webinar live option on the pro account?
So am I correct in thinking you still have to create a live post in your Facebook group ahead of going live but the persistent stream key means you don't have to keep copying into Stream Yard each time? I assume we don't click "Go Live" as this will be activated in StreamYard?
Hi. I would like to create a future event. I have Custom RTMP set up and the event set up in FB, but I cannot schedule it in the future in SY like I used to be able to; I can only GO LIVE now What am I missing? Thanks much.
Can you make a video how to live stream gameplay on mobile
Hey there. Followed these directions exactly to stream to my FB group and it is not working. It says I'm live and that the RTMP is set up correctly but the video does not actually show up. What should I be doing to troubleshoot?

live video is blocked out I can't even see it
What is the advantage or disadvantage of a persistent stream key in a group?
The advantage is that you won't have to setup a new RTMP destination in StreamYard every time you want to go live. You will still need to create the live post in your FB Group though.
The main disadvantage could be on the security side. If you have to enter a new stream key for every stream, it is less likely somebody else might steal that information from you. Never share the RTMP server URL and stream key for your FB Group publicly.
When you say you won’t be able to show comments under your stream anymore, that’s just fb and not TH-cam correct?
