Oh my gosh the bagel chips did for ya! Ha ha! I’m enjoying tagging along on your videos. I’ve done the wonderland trail and enjoy seeing the views again. Can’t wait for the summer! Keep doin you! Awesome!
I love all the videos you provide as I am also a person who likes things packed well and I love to plan too. I am greatly enjoying this series as it is inspiring our hiking group to take that next step into backpacking. Watching how you do it makes it a lot more doable. Oh, and I totally want to turn my SUV into a camper. It will greatly help to get to the trailhead in the morning as I have a distance to travel each time I hike. Thank you! And wow! This is an amazing trail.
I was at Mt. Rainier this weekend partly because of your Wonderland series. While I don't have time to do the trail, it was fun to be on parts of it as I hiked other trails. Thanks for being an inspiration!!
Lucky you. Anyways I always like to tune in and watch especially what you snack 🥨 on during your adventures since I'm a Vandweller and it's sort of a similar setup like 🏕️ but of course you have got the Luxury of "Being There". I've taken away quite a bit of Valuable tips and tricks.
I visited Seattle in April. One of the day trips I took was Olympic National Park, where I did a lot of hiking. Next time I go back to Seattle, I have got to take a day trip to Mount Rainier National Park. It’s a very beautiful place with lots to see!
Emerald ridge was one of my favorite views. There is so much going on in one spot when you stop and think about it. Definitely a spot to stop and soak it in.
For sure. Once I got out the map and realized I was looking at two different glaciers, it blew my mind a bit. Then the surrounding scenery just kept getting better and better. I loved this section!
I am so glad I found your channel this week, and I am loving this series! I am hoping to hike the Wonderland with my siblings next summer, and that desire is growing with every video you release in the series!
Bunged watched all 6 videos. Great content. Love the way you share all parts of the trail. This is on my list to do. I was there last year and hike out of Sunrise to Mount Fremont. Love salami and cheese on the trail also. 😃
GlD you’re enjoying this video series. It’s been a lot of fun being able to relive our trip. I did the hike out to the Mount Fremont Lookout last year and it was awesome. Salami and cheese is LIFE out on trail for me. 😊
Ugh. I had a permit for the Wonderland trail this year but a botched knee surgery in February that had to be fixed in May ruined my plans. I love watching your trip though!
Oh no! Sorry to hear about your change of plans. I'm a firm believer in that things happen for a reason. The trail isn't going anywhere and will be waiting for you when you're ready. At least now you can watch my videos to help plan your future trip. The planning process for this one was a beast to figure out. Glad you're enjoying watching this video series. It's been a lot of fun to put together.
Yes, we went counter clockwise on this trip. For all the details of our trip, including how we planned this one, be sure to catch this video where I explain it all: th-cam.com/video/tsPG9bT1xnI/w-d-xo.html
Ok..she was GREAT on the song don't let him quit his day job 🤣
I crack up every time I rewatch this section. There was never a dull moment with our trail family. 🤣
Okay "Famous " your making us hungry as usual. Please send some of your wonderful rain down here. Thank you for sharing.
We only had a couple days of the rain. It’s been a dry summer up here in the PNW. 😬
Oh my gosh the bagel chips did for ya! Ha ha! I’m enjoying tagging along on your videos. I’ve done the wonderland trail and enjoy seeing the views again. Can’t wait for the summer! Keep doin you! Awesome!

Well, that's not a bad sound of music mountain 😉
It was pretty gorgeous. I had to hold onto my eyeballs.
Wonderland is a bucket list hike for me for sure. I appreciate your videos so much. They give me a much better idea of what to expect.

There are so many plant leaves along the trails we walk that eliminate bug bites, it's amazing.
I’ll have to start doing some research. 😀
Love this episode...short & sweet..
Your U-Haul `s impromto rock guitar must have scared whatever little wild-life around...!! But it was cool man!!
U-Haul was always cracking us up out there. I’m sure the marmots were having a good laugh too. 😂
So happy to actually see Emerald Ridge! We had like 15’ of visibility on our day up there because of the rain.

Clearly you can’t just run out to the middle of meadow and take it all in. But how do you not run out to the middle of meadow?!?! Awesome views
Oh its tough, trust me. I find plenty of moments when I'm out on trail and I'll just stop, close my eyes and soak it all in.
