Thanks for the review. I don't have big Watts so I might pick one up. I find it good enough for polarised training and having the big efforts done outside.
Great review, the trainer comes with the adapters include it for 148 mm thru axle ? Right out of the box ? Or is need it to buy separately? Thks you very much
The strengh is similar to Elite Turno. With my mono chairing 54, I can't use anymore my turno...my chain is always on 33-28 or 25. Im looking something similar with less strengh. Thanks!!
Hi, great review, many thanks. One of your replies below was 'You can just start pedaling away if you want. No need to pair it to any app. You can pair it to a bike computer like a Garmin if you want to just record your workout'. Your reply is exactly what I want from a direct drive trainer. I currently have a wheel on trainer and would like to move to a direct drive now. I always just pair it to my Garmin Edge 520 and peddle away. Would you recommend this as the best direct drive for my use? One last request is no power supply necessary so the batteries are a positive as well. Many thanks.
For a budget trainer, this one isn’t bad and will do the job if you are just looking to pair it to your Garmin and ride. And yes, it only works on batteries.
Hi. Great video. I just purchased the Magene t100. I'm riding a 8 speed Specialized cassette. I installed an 11 speed cassette on the trainer. it keeps skipping and my connection to the app is sketchy. Any thoughts. Thank you
If your bike is 8 speed, you need to use an 8 speed cassette on the trainer. Cassette shouldn’t have anything to do with connection to app. Sounds like a different issue. Maybe battery weak?
For similar money, is there a better option? Was looking at the Kickr Snap but this seems like a better option unless I'm missing something? I like the idea of not having tire wear compared to the Snap. I'm stateside and this is showing as $370 on Amazon here. Thanks!
The kickr snap is interactive and supports sim and erg mode riding. It’s a much better trainer. The T100 only measures and broadcasts power and is not interactive. Hope this helps.
I haven’t had the T300 to test out yet so I can speak of that one or compare the two trainers. At that price range, I would look into the kickr core or Saris H3.
After watching few reviews on youtube, I've decided to buy Magene T100. Funny thing is that I can't calibrate trainer with Edge 830 and both of them (trainer on Zwift) are showing different speed and distance. I found in setting of trainer in Edge 830 that it's possible to change circumference of wheel, but what for? Have you change wheel weight in 830?

Great review Sir!! I like your review of T100 more than one from GPlama sir from Australia.... I have one as well from spring and happy to report that T100 supports Rouvy over ANT Beta.
@@SmartBikeTrainers / thanks. that's important to know. btw, just for my reference, how often do you swap back to go out for a ride or is this a semi permanent set up for you ?

Great review, short and to the point. Thanks for posting.
Please review Magene T300 🙏
gp lama reckons better options out there het compensation and more accuracy,i.e Elite
Thanks for the review! Can you also review ThinkRider X7 Pro?
Thanks for sharing, it gives me more idea how to assemble, my T100 just came in today.
Please make a review on magene t200

Great video. Going to make the purchase. I'm riding an 8 speed Shimano cassette on Specialized. Can I go up to 12 speed. Thanks
Hey Garrett, thanks for watching. Per Magene, it’s compatible with the following: Shimano/Sram 8 ~ 11 speed cassettes, Sram XDR 12-speed.

@@SmartBikeTrainers Great, thanks so much for your reply 🙏 Is there any others you would suggest that don’t need a power supply please? 🙏
The Tacx NEO doesn’t need a power supply. Also the CYCLPLUS 2T doesn’t require power to operate. I should have my full review on that one soon.
@@SmartBikeTrainers Thank you so much for your reply 🙏 I’ll check them out and look forward to your review. Many thanks once again 🙏

Thank you for your review. Does this trainer provide resistance without the battery?
It’s been a while since I’ve used it and will have to get back to you on this question.
Yes it does.
probably really good to take take a race or tt to warm up on

Also, consider the noise level and your tire, these are some reasons we choose a direct drive trainer😀
Hi. I have a 4iii crank based power meter on my bike. Can i use my bike power meter and use this trainer for zwift for better power accuracy?
Yes you can. Just pair your power meter and the power source. You don’t even need to pair this trainer and just use it for resistance.
Can you advise ... the best is Magene T300 or FLUX 2 I want to buy one

Does the Magene T100 trainer have to be used with apps such as Zwift, Trainer
Road, Sufferfest etc. , or can i just hop on and start pedaling away?

Given you're over on my channel telling me I shouldn't be talking about trainers, this isn't a surprise to read.
Any chance to review the Magene T300?
Not available yet in the U.S. but will try as soon as I can get my hands on one.
@@SmartBikeTrainers what app did you use for the comparison between the assioma and the t100 in the vid ? I have to the the T300 is scary quiet...
It’s RubiTrack for Mac

If you put the same cassette on the T100, then you shouldn’t have to.

Yes, You can ride it without connection to any app.

did you receive any money from Magene for that review?
No. I purchased this trainer myself
Best buy after 2 dissapointments from Elite and Tacx.
