    Might be obvious but why is it assumed you will invest the 71.3 in a 1 year bond first?

      OK, I hear what you are saying... but what else are you doing with your money, 71.3, for the 1 year time period if you don't invest today for 5 years and you wait until next year to invest for only 4 years?

      @@ProfBrianGordon Okay yeah I agree it makes practical sense to invest it for the year but just seemed a little ambiguous to me so thought I might be missing something. Thanks!
