Larry has learned somewhere along the way that the way he says "what the fuck?" is really, really, REALLY funny. I greatly approve of the fact that he says it at least once in every episode.
As an Iranian this is fucking hilarious to me. The actor portraying the Ayatollah nailed it in the beginning but later on when he started hitting the table he kinda lost his touch.
So what makes Larry David unique and singularly brilliant is that he can come up with a story like this and execute it beautifully. But Larry pretending to speak Arabic before turning to Jeff and saying, "I'm doing Spanish it sounds like". _That_ is the bit that tips him into genius.
How the writers pulled this storyline off without any major repercussions (as far as I am aware) is incredible. Hopefully the subtle message behind the episode will get through to people. #
