Thank you my king of music. I said few things about you sometimes before reading your life history , then I said you are an angel sent to bring joy and happiness to the world through your God giving talent. I give glory to God that I witnessed and enjoying your great works .Let me say again that you are a gift to mankind , one thing I ask of God, let our KING live forever in Jesus name (amen)
This is my all time favorite!! Playing this in the American country bushes, trust me it feels powerful!! The spirit connection cry of our ancestors, is the most beautiful and amazing feel. Try it. It will connect all others around you and create peace naturally just like the root spirits normally do in my deep village Northern Tanzania, East Africa. Lake Nyanza (Victoria).
As professed by Shakespear "if music is the food of love let me have excess of it". Sunny Ade is the epitome of that adage. The artistic prowesity, the uncanny wisdom in the lyrics, the assembly of the instruments beat human imagination. This showcases God gift and wisdom. This is not sheer talent, it is a gift to the human race.
I so much love KSA , whenever he plays at Abeokuta, I will be there to watch his performance. The funny aspect of it is that I will be at the venue before the arrival of his musical instruments and will not leave the venue until Sunny stops playing.

I K Dairo. I was connected to his music 55 years ago. At SOB (Sound Of Brazil) not only did l watch him but met the music reporter of New York Times Jon Pareles and talked backstage to the Father of modern Juju Music himself!
This is classic. no other way to describe it. it gives me the memories of Lagos of those years. The contents are clear suberly compose and easy to digest to continue the friendship in a face of growing distrust. God bless you and your work KSA.
Got to see these cats about 20 or so years ago here in the states and of all states Arizona. Missed them a couple of years ago and am still hating that ultimate senior moment. One of the best shows I had ever seen.I was working for a band that played this music during their breaks.Still love it!
EgbaAlake!!! Many thanks for uploading this. Absolutely appreciate this classic. I last heard this when I was an under-10 kid. 4X now, it never left my head & I can hear it now. thank God for technological advancement.
Aaaaaah!!! Memories of days gone past. Thanks for uploading this. Another work of genius from the great KSA. From lyrics to beats to rhythm, true genius emanates from all areas. This is a man of true beauty from inside to out. The standard of Sunny's work is one that many should apply in our daily lives - whether musician or accountant.
The king, I always dream when to see you again. I grew up in the West, during those days you music was my source of strength and comfort.Thank you so much for your contribution in Nigeria with your anointed voice. From your fan Dr.Churchill CA.

@@oluwalomejooda001 And has the nation calledTurkey produced any kind of music that comes anywhere close to this. I don't think so. When Bob Marley passed away, his record company was looking for a replacement. Although the background and the type of music both artists play is quite different, Island records was looking for a musician who produced music up to the simular standard as Bob Marley. They looked all over the world and they came up with King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey. None of whom are from Turkey, what does that tell you.
Evergreen music. Thanks, King Sunny Ade ❤
