I usually try to build a fortress on this level using tall nuts with pumpkins in front and having 2 trees in every other column to fully protect against basketballs and bungie zombees, and I even have a column of magnets a couple of columns behind the tall nuts for ladders, but your way seems to have far less stress.

@DamienG9 anything that shoots in a straight line instead of an ark is practicly useless on the roof levels. The only spot they're useful at is, i think, the last sloped spot on the roof before the flat area.
imp gets thrown by gargantuar when he is on half hp. oh for 8 seed slotters use these 8 plants i passed the second flag and everything looks fine but u have to rebuild some ok these are the plants: cabbage-pult+kernel-pult+flower pot+sunflower+squash+umbrella plant+jalepeno+cherry bomb. these are the 8 plants ok remember the umbrella plant protected by kernel-pult and if the lane no need umbrella plant use double cabbage pult.
if you feel your sun comes down fast replace kernels with melons and cabbage guys with kernel.DONT forget the rake for more sun to wait.put 1space in of flower pot for squashes to protect one more in front for jalepenos n cherry bomb. ALL THE BEST!
BO CHEN He's not Retarded Plus This is a Level in the Roof So He has to wait until the Zombie Eats the Plant then he Places it in the Pot (You need the Pot To Place a Plant In Roof Levels)
lol i was using this as a walkthrough but only about halfway throo the vid i realized you where on your first playthoo whan i was on my THIRD and i was happy it still worked but i got pissed when i saw the zomboss and i lost alot of times so i want you to make a vid for zomboss please :''(

Hey um....sorry if your dead and all that, but to answer, your question, the reason they didn't use a bomb, is because the cool down was still happening, meaning they couldn't use the bomb until the cool down ended, which was when the zombies were about to hit the roof cleaner, hopefully this answers your question.
