    Mr BB, another clear and concise video, especially good to include when things don’t go to plan. Learn lots more that way.

    The problem with that type of spool adapter is they don't allow for the removal of the rear wheel. They are only good for basic servicing and storage. Glad to see your back!

    Put some red threadlock on the spools so they don't loosen over time due to vibrations.

      BrownBrady Just put very similar adjuster blocks with spool attachment on my CB500F and used blue locktight...for easy disassembly if needed. Recommended by most spool manufacturers. I gotta buy a new lift now too. My concern is how secure the blocks are in the swingarm...for a 400lb. Bike. Mine are from Strada 7.

    Please don't use adjustable wrenches. Use the correct ring wrench or socket. They don't cost much.
    If you MUST use an open ended wrench, use it the correct way round. Notice that the arm is on an angle. You should be dragging the wrench so that your knuckles are in line with the bolt head. Otherwise you risk tumbling off the bolt heat when you are at max effort.

    • @amaeyparadkar9632

      GDUB Tires go bad at contact area.

    • @Simpleandfree36
      @Simpleandfree36 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Amaey :-) Im in Texas we don't have very much winter here, so the bikes done really sit for that long. But its good to know why it would need to be done.

    • @amaeyparadkar9632
      @amaeyparadkar9632 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      GDUB Well, I am from India and here temperature doesn't drop below 8 degree Celsius. Also being a developing country, we use our bikes all the time, it's faster and cheaper than anything else, even public transport.

      As Amaey already mentioned, it's possible to develop flat spots on the tires at the contact points between the tire and concrete.
