love the robotic delivery, to the point and extremely easy to grasp. also it has that lovely 90s charm which means no showoff and just the material needed
This is a great training video. For advanced labs all the writing and recording by hand is now done by automation by xGEL Data Systems. Electronic scale and real time calculations.
in liquid limit test, test start from dry to wetter side. In your video the Ist number of belows were 17 (which should be between 20 to 30 belows) . Then add the water to get the others two values.
Many students were utilising this facility in the seventies and we were not aware until mobile phones have taken over desktops and laptops ..... Guys were learning without ever attending the colleges ....and attendees got thier attendance online ....and faculties got atm paytm within the end of month .....and others were waiting for .........pay ........with lack of attendees and attendance ............ Seminar attendees ??? Conference attendees ??? Convention attendees ??? Cultural function attendees ??? So ........without information faculties had to resign within couple of years ....and government is .........declining to pay even five thousand in federal government colleges
It is important to know the liquid limit(LL) of the soil present at the site so that we can compare it with its natural water content(Wn) . If the Wn is closer to or greater than LL then the soil is soft and if the Wn is lesser than the LL then the soil is stiff and brittle. Therefore it basically helps in determining the shear strength of the soil.
for using it in road construction starting from Subgrade to Base course the LL is must, but they have different specs in each layer. these test is the consistency test of moisture so it will tell you how the soils behave as contact with water
I thought the water content will weight of wet soil minus weight of dry soil, n in percentage , we divide weight of water by wet soil, I m confused, he divided weight of water by oven dry soil that cannot give the water content
We have to ensure what type of nature of the soil is at different circumstenses for example if we want to construct a foundation to built a building in this way it ensures us that how possiblely floors can be constructed here and ensures others aspects as well

Very informative and useful video. Thanks for the video ❤
Thanks a lot. You have made it much more easier. Success in all you do.
Thank you Sir for your best explanation of the experiment..And more over youtube must be useful in this way for studies also.
You are saying this must be useful for study also, What do you think sir. Can that be used in any other way
Very thorough explanation and process, thank you.
Very useful . Teaching is very clear to understand .
this video is sooooooo helpful
i really got benefits from it during work
Thank You for helping me understand the Atterberg limit test
I think he is making plastic expression because of explaining plastic limit... want to check his shrinkage limit explanation...
😂😂👌
I read this comment after1 year you wrote...
Totally nailed.. 😆😆
The concept is made clear then why we need to check his expression?
Excellent method of presentation.
exquisite effort from your side thank you very much sir.....
Very nice explanation sirji...
great work, keep it up ou guys have made it very easier
Good explanation sr.
Good picture quality sr
.
Vvv thanku sr

to get number of blows around 20 to 30 they should have dry the sample, to decrease the water content
excellent explanation and practical experiment but if describe how to classify according unified classification will be great. Thanks
Very amazing vedio ❤
thank you so much..very well explained in a easy manner.
Better to go with 1.5x p.bspeed

Very helpful!!
how much time you are keeping wet sol in oven and also temp you are maintaining
Very helpful. 👍
Nice video sir..
It is helpfull to us ..
Good one sir, and i need also how much water required to mixing soil
15,m.l
,5 m.g
.i.e ,15 ml
the amount of water is dependent on the type of soil, example the amount of water we use for clayey soil and sandy soil will not be equal
How much percentage of distilled water is been used ?? What can be the minimum percentage of water can we take ??
Robot voice 😂🖤
Very beautiful explanation 💚
very good video...whole playlist is awesome
was that a correct reading of a log scale graph??
120gm soil and water level kaise PTA kre ki kitna dalna hai
Good
Great video
How to know about weight of oven dry soil with container in liquid limit
Thank you very much
Nice video sir
Good explanation ❤❤
Great video!!!!
Super sir...u done it exactlyy thank u...
Why you prepire new sample for LL PL?
Sir how much water we have put in sample plzz repy
This is good ये सभी videos हिन्दी में उपलब्ध हो सकता हैं। pleas soil machnics का hindi lecture upload किजिये sir
Niiice 🔥🔥
Why the grooves are different for sandy soil and clay soil?
Sar Kay paysli blows drop krne par niche touch hota hai
very nice
How much % of water to be added for both experiments? Pls rply sir
Determination of limits is the process to ascertian qty of water.so the end result is how much water required finally.!
How much water added for different reading
Very interesting than other vedios
In oder to the standerd.. you cannot hold the cassegrand apprs.
Nice video
Thank you !
thank you !
Very simply explain..so ty
Thank you 😆😆😆😆😆😆
very outstanding video ..... God less you guys....jovial

WHO MANY PERSENT OF WATER ARE ADDING AN SIOL TO MAKE PASTE
Everything is good but it will be better if this video was available in 720 pixel
Some one can explain me how we can use this test at building or road consrtuction? In commonly how we can impact this test in life for what?
For embankent work

How did we come to know the weight of container + dry soil?? Give me the time strap

Is it possible to determine LL for A3 sand
Sir water kitna milana h 120g soil me apne ye nhi btaye
15 %se start krna hai
nice video. thanks
Dinala ako dito ng online class..
Nice sir
Its should b free falling and no any disterbances
Atterberg limits are related to clay soils i.e less than 75u.then how come the samples are passing 475u.pl clarify
Just to reject the unwanted particle
Super sir
Thank you very much bro free link

I thought the water content will weight of wet soil minus weight of dry soil, n in percentage , we divide weight of water by wet soil, I m confused, he divided weight of water by oven dry soil that cannot give the water content
i think so
Why u have used semi log instead of normal graph...
In cases of varied diametres of grains it is merited to use semilog graph
Why we determine liquid and plastic limit?
to classify the soil
For ascertaining consistency of clats
We have to ensure what type of nature of the soil is at different circumstenses for example if we want to construct a foundation to built a building in this way it ensures us that how possiblely floors can be constructed here and ensures others aspects as well
Quantity of water added in plastic and liquid limit is not told in vedio
Hoooo thnku sir....
good
Thnx sir
