The amount of effort that goes into these productions is incredible, thank you animal logic.
What a thoughtful comment.. You must work in this field...
@@billhuffman4327 I feel like the OP and I work at a gas station. Your point in seems to be invalid.
edit: invalid at best. Absolutely dumb at best 😉
100% agree!
It's called a job, lol
@@Jeff.55649 not if you enjoy it. Then its a career
Horrific eldritch maw; fabulous iridescence ~ _Just bobbit worm things™_
That disappointing feeling when you're waiting to be eaten and at the end of the night you have to slink back to the colony
"Don't trust a meal that looks like it wants to be eaten!" I'll have to give up hamburgers!
Fun fact: the symptoms of deadly nightshade poisoning very closely resemble the symptoms of benadryl challenge victims, as they both are anticholinergics.
And you do these drawings, Danielle? Just incredible.
I know they could and likely would wreck me if I tired, but I think Shoebills are cute and just want to ruffle their feathers.
Happy Spooky Season! Great video!
funny enough, shoebills are actually pretty commonly known to be completely chill around humans, and will even let people approach their nests without getting freaked out. You still shouldnt touch a wild animal of course, but you probably could
A perfect compilation to celebrate Halloween. Your videos always have such hi quality and production value. Thank you.
Thank you! Happy Halloween, stay spooky! 👻
there should be a subtype of animallogic dedicating how mythological creatures could work in real life, and the origins. Call it "Mythologic"
You mean like the dragons documentary discovery did?
Yay for seeing Jess Keating again! This is a great Halloween Special. Dylan is an exquisite video producer
A recommendation for next halloween, maybe do like a ghost creature compilation ? like clear or white-ish animals ? just a suggestion and love ur vids
Amazing work everyone! Thank you for the dedication and hard work to bring us great contect! I can listen to danielle's lecture all day. Great channel. ❤🎉
Thank you for tuning in!!
Thanks for your kind comment!!
Its nice to see Jess again, even if its old vids. Miss ya!!
There's a species of fish that they harvest in the deep waters around Australia and New Zealand. McDonalds even use it in their Filet O Fish burgers here! Blue Grenadier is the name of the fish, a kind of rat tail deep sea fish. Very tasty, very sustainable.
More like a pair of wing than pectoral fins. 400 million years .. jeez! He can tell us nearly an entire history of fish! Yes, he'd do it monstrously!
These 13 things in nature are very spooky but nonetheless pretty cool, to me and just gives mature such a more interesting flatre to them
I like this video ♥
Wtf are you saying, are you having a stroke
as a paleontologist there's a lot i could correct in the terror bird segment, but I'll let it slide
worms with teeth are terrifying... I remember being a kid in experiencing my first bloodworms during a fishing trip. once I saw that mouth come out with those 4 copper claw-like teeth, I was like what HP Lovecraft writes is real...😂.
Imagine hallucinating at the bottom of the ocean. I’d be dead by fear before oxygen ran out.
I am a little less afraid of the bobbit worms now, when seeing them just vibing in an aquarium. It is just another critter looking for food uwu
Adore your narration Danielle ❤.
The origin of the name "Bobbitt worm" is most definitely NOT a myth, as John Wayne Bobbitt can sadly attest. Before June 23, 1993, it was more commonly known as a sand-striker worm.
EDIT: I really, REALLY hope Andres didn't die from belladonna poisoning! That would be so sad!!
Andres is ALIVE and well. Fun fact, he was the producer on this very video!
@@animalogic whew!! 😄👍🏿
@@JohnDrummondPhotoRight! Was preparing to see a tribute at the end, and if not; start combing the description and comments for an answer.
@@jamesharrell4360 This is correct, and also why we may want to consider not calling it that; by calling this animal the "Bobbitt Worm", we are by default making light of domestic abuse. Not that I am suggesting anyone is so doing deliberately, my comment is only food for thought. I myself called it BW before this was brought to my attention, and now I share the perspective for consideration.
At the Oregon City Fall's in Oregon of course there is a annual harvest of Lamprey's by the local First Nation Tribe.
Omg yes I thought the drawing was referencing Zero until you showed that’s actually what they look like. Also I have a carrion plant and it really doesnt smell bad unless you put your face in it. It does attract a lot of gnats tho so I still avoid it.
How are ghost sharks scary? They are super cute with those huge eyes, the nose and the flappy wings.
They really are cute! They're also the favorite animal of renowned paleo-artist (and dad joke extraordinaire), Ray Troll. You should check his work out, if you're not already familiar. Animalogic has actually used his art before in at least one of their vids, but they did not credit him.
Thank yall for the hard work and good info as always
Blind date for severed genitals is not a phrase id thought i would hear today
Wait, how do we know the effects of the chimaera venom? Who was the first to find out, at -200m?
My fall / holloween is not complete without an Animalogic video 🧡
Happy Halloween Animallogic !
I feel like humans are pretty scary creatures too lol
23:37 OMG his setup is AMAZING! lucky lil dude!
Happy Halloween! ❤
Hyosciamine is extracted from Belladonna and used frequently for IBS spasms. It seems to work for some people.
I've heard that it's still used in some form by eye docs for dialated eye exams... not sure if that's true tho. That's why I'm scrolling the comments, looking to see if anyone has further info on the matter.
And thank u for this compilation. It's perfect for going to sleep to after watching them all of course 😊
Being able to detect the heartbeat through the electric signals sounds quite scary. I'm guessing it only works on very short distance, but that basically negates every type of camouflage... (now I'm wondering if it would be theoretically possible for invertebrates to have a conductive exoskeleton by, idk, eating dirt from specific places that is rich in metals or something 😅 like a reverse faraday cage)
I don't know whether there's any real animal that does it, but you've got an excellent world building idea there.
@@ElorauroraIt's literally the first entry in this video.
Hammerhead sharks, rays, etc... all very well documented and filmed swimming just above the sand for a tasty morsel; Just like sea fairing birds, cows, etc. can detect the magnetic fields. (And other amazing acts of living organisms..) so many amazing abilities from them...yet my dog still is spooked by his own fart like he didn't feel it. Has to get up and find out where that noise behind him came from... 🤦🏻♂️😁
Thank you for providing binge watching content 😂😂
Damn nature. You scary.
Nightmare fuel has never been so well-detailed and interesting. I enjoy your laid-back energy. I'm totally subscribing.
The parasite part is always gross. Having something grow inside you is terrifying xD
Evarcha Culicivora: "Researchers believe it could become a weapon in the fight against malaria."
Yes, Zero! That's exactly what they remind me of! I couldn't put my finger on it until you said that.
I have a carrion plant here in Australia. Its only flowered a couple times but i will now watch the flowers to get rid of the seeds.
bro, this last part of the vampires i couldn't bear to watch. I'm already starting to itch here kkkkk
i just love watching your channel, you just have my undivided attention.
Hilarious editing at 28:36 😂
Really excellent big episode, fascinating! But it ended a bit abruptly lol
8:20 A man grappling with his lamprey.
HELL YEAHHH!!! ONE HOUR LONG VIDEO!!
Carnivorous armadillo may well be the most nightmare fuel thing I've ever heard. That just ain't right.
Edit: Adding "mucus-lined burrows" to that list. Nope, nope, nope.
‘Danger Noodles’ I love it!
Hmm Lamprey Eel that sucks out your insides alive or the Cookie Cutter Shark that takes a bite of flesh of anything living.
I just love these videos
Oooo I love ranking videos! Reminds me of animal planets Most Extreme :)
lamprey eel: watch me Horseshoe, after 340 milions years evolution the humans try to push me aside and they fail.
horeshoe crab: don't bother them Lamprey, they are surviving just on my mercy.
I know I will regret it but I am still watching it
i like the bobbit worm

These videos are incredibly good
the phrase "That's some Tremmors sh-t" is something I need to use more in my daily life
Actually, in Portugal, atlantic lampreys are considered a delicacy and it's quite the expensive dish. Was invited to eat it a couple of times and I'm not a fan, personally!
i was definitely getting the dog from nightmare before Christmas vibe :)
great video, you have to wonder, which ones are directed mutagenesis & which ones random...
There were several differet clades of Terror Birds, some related to Parrots ('cause South America) & one bizarrely related to Ducks...
Forgot to mention that they go after swimmers (humans) at time. There was a run of lamprey attacks on humans a few years ago in Lake Champlain
Love the dress in the chimera part
I can figure TH-cam restrictions would not let you go into detail as to why the Bobbit worm has its nickname.... XD
Happy Halloween!
5:00 my dumbass forgot its a top 10 video and I was like damn the video changed what the hell😂😂😂 smooth transistion got me all confused
Tony Baker's stand up special "Scaredy Cat" has a fun take on the spider mating ritiual😂 he's the original animal voice over king.😊
A fish doesn't know it's swimming in water because it has never seen it. It thinks it's flying
baaaabe new animalogic just dropped!!!
As for birds, a kind of parrot in documentary appeared, say, shocking. Parrots eating a carcass in one scene. Yes, meat-eating parrot! Psychological horror it was.
As someone with an allergies to bedbugs they are fucking horrifying and damn near drove me insane.
Ghost sharks look like the evolutionary step between rays and sharks 🤔
Love the vid keep it up 💯
Happy Halloween 🎃

How do fish, evolved in saltwater, move so effortlessly into freshwater?
how can you detect electric field? as soon as you feel one you get an electric shock and die or if the e-field is weak, nearby molecules move towards the source immediately to neutralize it. in other words, how can you create a electric potential and maintain the potential without other molecules to come and neutralize it
What do you Use to Draw? I Love Your Art
Nature is pretty amazing
lmao had to replay your clap a couple times Danielle, never change
How quickly can disappear bobbit! Dragging a prey with him! Power & speed is breathtaking. By the way, how to consume prey is another curiosity. Does it devout preys whole or only meat? Then, residue, if so? Reappear on the sea floor as skeleton?
Hire Portuguese fishermen to take care of the lamprey, we love to eat lamprey
Bobbit worm. 😳
Tremors. Definitely Tremors 😳
4:09 looks like the mouth of that monster in Pan's Labyrinth
I didn't realise that some types of nightshade are edible!!
The bobbit worm takes ...." frick off " kinda literally
In Portugal we eat lamprey. We cook them with their blood
Pound for pound those small cats that made their way into S. America were probably some of the best overall Killers in the Animal Kingdom & was the most to blame for the Marsupial and similar Placentals destruction. Big Birds can't eat smaller mammals if something beyond their grasp has eaten them first
So in other words….. lampreys are just a Dino sized leeches 😱😱😱😱😱
Lol! Are you saying Andres died from accidentally nightshade?
7:35 can't wait for a report on Florida man to have applied one of these in an off label way...😁
please make a more detailed video about all the hyenas
I wonder what a Chimera trip is like!
wait are these already released videos just put together? feel like ive seen at least 1 being the terrorbirds.
Haven't we tried eating the invasive lamprey eels it is a good idea
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Tremors reference!!! ❤️🫰
