  • Testing the new Dr Props. Would likely be just as fast as m445 with some tuning changes. Possibly needs some more cg, will have to adjust and go back out. Threw the m445 back on to finish out the video

    Was so impressed with your boat . I bought one from OSE. Just delivered has an offset rudder. Would like to change to a side unit . May I ask what rudder you are using .
    Cheers

      Congratulations! Can’t go wrong with a cheetah. That stock rudder will work fine and they even have a dual pick up option for it if you didn’t get that version. I changed mine to make more fine-tuning adjustments on the length and stuff. Mines a large speed master rudder, but it’s not necessary.

    I appreciate you placing your boats in the water and not tossing them in. I do the same thing. What tape do you use?

      Very nice. I’m just using cheap hockey tape for Amazon.

    Hi, new subscriber love the content. Your attention to detail is awesome. I’m looking at getting a cheetah but can’t decide on the 34” or 40” which size is yours.

      @RogallaMarineRC  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for the subscription. It means a lot. Mine is the 34 inch and that is the size I would recommend. The 40 inch seems to be not nearly as popular or desirable. Which is a bummer because I was very hopeful for it. It looks like they changed the bottom design and added an extra step.

    You already know this is one of my favorites in your fleet Do you build the single from a bare hull and does the hull come pre drilled? Thanks in advanced Youre killin it with these videos I appreciate the way you break it down 🤙

      PS If I were to wreck a BJ42 Hull again could i just take the stuff out and put it in this hull

      Hey bro! Happy Saturday. You may be able to fit some blackjack 42 stuff in it, I don’t know about the larger can motor. The 40 mm motor is already a pretty tight squeeze in this hull.I got this hull from a buddy of mine and did the full rebuild myself. I basically start out with the hull and hardware as you see on offshore electrics, but ended up doing a lot of my own stuff to it anyway. Thanks for the kind words very motivating!

    I dont think your wrong about twin vs single. This boat runs like charm. Don't think it would do much better if it were. It also would get significant heavier which also has an effect. If you wanted to go way faster, then a twin would probably be better. But for now and how this boat runs, i don't see any advantage in it...

    • @RogallaMarineRC
      @RogallaMarineRC  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree I don’t think this boat has anything to gain as a twin. Maybe for a top speed run Boat but for laps I would say it’s perfect. Thanks!

      @@RogallaMarineRC how do American people say that again? Never change a winning team or something like that. Don't forget this setup is not at its max if you wanted to go faster. Your using it to run laps hard, not for straights. I think its damn near perfect to do just that.
      That's also what i try to accomplish in my setups. Speed but with still some runtime, but also some handling. Run my Dom in 6 and 8s. If conditions allow it and feel like it, i put 8s and shorter rudder on and go all out. But most off time run bit slower. I also think you can't expect from an RC to perform every time it's max without paying a price for it.
