Look , why even move at all ? 12 will get you a QB and you don't have to sacrifice all those other picks. NONE of those QB's are worth trading that much for. I'd stay put and let fate play it's part . Let the QB come to me. None of the other teams want QB.
No, I don't think the Bills are the team to watch. The Bills may trade up and get a quarterback, but everyone is expecting that. I think the Browns are the team to watch. I read a story yesterday that the Browns may trade back into the 1st round after using their two picks. According to a local report, they have talked to Seattle about the 18th pick.
They are not going to 2 or they are really stupid for not getting in the bidding while the Jets were making their bid. The Colts may lie but they are not going to trade without letting anyone they had discussions with and might counter know it's about to go down. I think it will be a draft day trade below 3 if someone they want slips to a team they have a deal set up with, the Broncos desire to get that guy and moving up to 4 could create a bidding war since the Browns lose nothing dropping 1 position.

Facts
Why is Colin so high on Washington? Alex is arguably not as good as Cousins. They're offense has no weapons besides Reed and he is always injured.
Alex Smith is most definitely better than Kirk. Alex is a much better runner, makes almost no mistakes, is good under pressure, and has won a ton of games and has even won playoff games. Kirk throws an interception any time he's under pressure. Whenever there is a moment where Kirk needs to score...interception or fumble. Also, the Redskins have plenty of weapons. Paul Richardson is one of the fastest receivers in the NFL, Jamison Crowder is an amazing and young slot receiver, Josh Doctson had some of the craziest catches last year. Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis form one of the best Tight End duos in the NFL. Chris Thompson is one of the best receiving backs in the NFL. One of the best offensive lines in football. They were also one of the most injured teams last year so they can only get better.
Just check the stats of them both and their respective team's stats during their tenures. Smith is easily better, he is overlooked far too much.
I can tell you're a Washington fan. I can also say Alex smith doesn't throw many TD's expect for last year, you can say alex smith is a better runner (which he is) but Kirk has more running TD's. Fast receiver so? There have been plenty fast receivers that don't do great in the nfl look at Mike Wallace. Good, Doctson can make a crazy catch...he just doesn't do anything else great. Vernon Davis has not been anywhere near the same player he used to be for several years.
I did look at his stats? Did you? In the three years the Kirk has started, he has a more passing yards, better completion %, more TD's (running and throwing), higher yards per run, The only thing Alex beats him in is lower int and total run yards. I'm not even a Kirk fan though.
Who led their team to a victory against one another? Was it Kirk or Alex? Enough said. Who led his team to the playoffs once again? Alex Smith. Anything else?
Rosen and Darnold as franchise players and not a word about Lamar.

Cleveland should take Darnold number one overall, trade the fourth to the bills for their 12th and 22nd and a first or second next year. Trade that 12th overall pick and a second this year for Odell. Trade their next second rounder and trade it for a first next year, trade their last second round for a second next year so next year they have Darnold and OBJ and Landry and Gordon and Njoku and three first round picks and two second round picks

I hate every NFC east team but that division is gonna be fought between Dallas and philly for at least 7 years. Dallas has a high powered offense once Dak fine tunes his mechanics and are young and talented on defense. Philly has Wentz and a top 2 defense IMO. Giants and redskins are on the outside looking in for a while
On what basis is everyone calling Allen a bust? It looks like everyone thinks he's hyped up bc of his arm, but ignore the fact he took over 40% of his senior year snaps under center compared to Darnold's 3%, not to mention Allen's insane stride length and ability to throw on the run
CamoDrako His pocket presence is below average and he has sporadic accuracy. Tends to rush things when under pressure and forces throws early or rolls out of the pocket when it isn’t necessary. Not a great decision maker either, last year’s interception count wasn’t horrendous, but he also didn’t attempt very many passes compared to his sophomore year, where he threw 15 ints. Sure, he may have experience in a pro-style system, but he never showed me that he could actually operate consistently from it. For me, he’s the #5 QB in this draft, and definitely shouldn’t be a starting QB in the NFL for at least a couple years

This is proof why stats don't say everything. Just because he didn't have a ton of PD's or pics suddenly means he isn't a great CB? IF you actually ever watched Redskins games, you would see that he stays on his targets and pretty much shuts them down for the game. He takes away every team's best receiver. That is why Tight Ends always have great games against the skins. Because J-No and Breeland would shut down the top receivers, and the Tight Ends would end up burning the middle linebackers in zone coverage. Norman is still high end, you just need to watch the actual games.

When fully healthy they have some serious players (mainly on defense, offense could use some work I’ll admit) just think: Trent Williams, Ryan Kerrigan, Brandon Scherff, Zach Brown, Chris Thompson, Alex Smith, Paul Richardson, DJ Swearinger, Jamison Crowder. Those dudes can flat out play
K and I forgot to add Jonathan Allen, who was absolutely killing it in his rookie year before he got hurt
Trust me, I'm well aware of who is on the Redskins roster. Yes, they have a few talented players. I personally think Williams is the best LT in the NFL when he is fully healthy, and Scherff is an elite RG. I think Allen has immense potential also. You also didn't mention Mason Foster, who I think is very good (certainly better than Zach Brown), but was hindered by injury, like much of the Redskins roster. I also like Perine, Doctson, Vernon Davis, and Montae Nicholson. However, by the process of elimination I think they are bottom 10 in terms of talent, despite having a few solid or young players.
I've never been to big on Kerrigan, but even if you like him, he is getting up there in age. Brown has been inconsistent his entire career (a huge liability when it comes to tackling), Thompson is electric in space, but he's a fragile pass-catching RB; that's it. Smith is underrated, but at best he's a horizontal shift from Cousins. Swearinger is a good leader, but he is also incredibly inconsistent. You didn't mention Norman, but he's grossly overrated too
As for the receivers, I like Crowder a lot, but both he and Richardson are on dimensional. PR is a deep threat, and Crowder is an underneath, slot flanker. That's it.
I just wanna say I have nothing against Washington (even as a Giants fan, I don't mind them at all), but I was just pointing out my annoyance with Cowherd touting them to support his narrative. I also think a couple of their moves this offseason were very questionable; IMO they got rid of their 2 best players (Cousins and Fuller).
TL;DR: Redskins have a couple of good players, but so does every team, even the bad ones. They also have many aging and one dimmensional players, not to mention a lot of holes on their roster. Cowherd is acting like they're much better than they are just to support his point.

Browns Should take any of the qb's except Allen. They should also take CB Denzel Ward with the 4th pick. All the teams in the NFC and AFC Championships games had the best defenses against the pass except the Patriots. They need someone who can slow Antonio Brown down. They should pass on Saquon Barkley. Elite CB's are more valuable than RB's.

Joe flacco probably has the biggest arm in the AFCN. He's the 3rd best qb in that division because his accuracy is garbage.
Accuracy & Decision Making in combination with having a competent arm are what's needed in the AFCN or any cold weather division for that matter. Allen severely lacks in the first 2. Allen seriously looks like a player that doesn't know how to play the position.

I still think the Bills should hold off, wait and see if any qbs are left after Broncos draft. If a top qb is left then trade up just to get ahead of the Dolphins for a much cheaper price. Otherwise stay with AJ McCarron for the season and fill the holes at LB and OL, i feel with those holes filled Bills make playoffs again. Scary defense if they get some good LB's and improve the pass rush.

The Giants dropping to slot 12 would be too far a drop in this draft. I like the scenario where Buffalo trades up to 6 and then trades up again to the Giant's slot. I'm just not sure they have enough resources to do that.

to accumulate more picks. If the GMEN trade with BUF, the GMEN can get Darrius
Guice at #12 and a top CB like Mike Hughes at #21. They will also get BUF 2nd Rd pick
and can take a WR (DJ Moore or James Washington)
