I had a good friend who got signed in Nashville and was performing with names like tyler farr, Luke combs, and sam hunt when they were nobody's and he told me the same thing. He said adderall would get them "fucked up" and then he'd drink with them and it was fun but got old quick and he didn't know who he was and didn't even enjoy playing music much anymore because each show would follow a party that made him hate himself more. Said there's a lot of talent out there that couldn't take the fame and the world will never hear. This is probably why you only hear of a musician for about 3 years and then never again.
This is the first time I’ve heard this song. I’ve often gotten the sense that Morgan is very lost. It must be very difficult to stay centered when you live a life with access to anything and it’s probably hard to decipher who really cares about and who only cares about what you can do for them.
