This is good as far as it goes. But in real-world music a polyrhythm is not just two lines of uniform, regular beats like repeating quarter notes or 1/8 triplets. If you listen to Afro-Cuban music or music from subSaharan Africa, a polyrhythm is two or more COMPLEX rhythms, where there's a lot of rhythmic complexity in each individual rhythm. And the musician layers those together to make something even more complex and intricate. I wish someone would make a TH-cam video to teach that.
