I m from south louisiana n my father always said it is the reason they call ir duck n geese hunting n not duck n geese killing. He was one ofmthe best duck callers i have ever heard nnis where i learned from. One day i will record my call but i live in Philippines now n no duck hunting here,,, legally!! God Bless!!
The gear they use is great too been using hevi shot for about 8 years now tried every ammo out there hevi shot is by far the best have made some incredible shots because of it!! Only thing not the biggest fan of is the shotgun I’ve shot Benelli Super black Eagle 1 2 3 also the Winchester’s sxp, and other shotguns but nothing compares to the Remington Versa Max ( I have every model) but I’ve truly fallen in love with the Versa Max waterfowl pro which was the first shotgun to have the extra large button to close the bolt the extended charging hammer for the time your out hunting in extreme cold and have big heavy gloves on which makes it easier to load unload and not have to worry about taking the gloves off it also is not just a waterfowl gun I’ve shot doves, quail, pheasant, turkey, and trap and skeet but my favorite part is you can shoot a case of shells of 3.5” shells and still use your shoulder the next day the Waterfowl pro is hands down the best shotgun money can buy have shot 1000s of rounds from 2 3/4 to 3.5 have gone 2 hunting seasons and trap shooting in between without cleaning it and never one problem
Remington has changed waterfowl hunting with the versa max waterfowl pro now you see other manufacturers knocking off their design but nothing compares in my opinion especially if yr looking at the other expensive brands out their is definitely recommend looking into them if yr looking at a beneill, Or other shotguns in that price range almost went with a beneill but so glad I saw the versa max waterfowl pro worth every penny in my opinion and I think if you’d shoot it you’d love it too!!
they are easy up there. hunting louisiana it is a different ball game. group of us went up to arkansas for a hunt and you could've shot geese in the parking lot of walmart
@@OngaroOutdoors ahhhhh.....multiple people from louisiana taking multiple trips, even just as far north as arkansas, would disagree with you on that. Hey, more power to you guys, But when the guy you booked the hunt with tells you "not to worry about calling" and 8 coonasses start calling, they went full blown bananas. His mind was blown.
It varies with each group of clients , and you should know that . Some of the clients can afford to practice shooting Trap and Skeet , and those people learn to understand you MUST lead the target because it takes some small amount of time for your shot pattern to get out to where the target will be at . Some clients think they MUST shoot directly at the birds , and they miss a lot because the bird is already past that point by the time your pattern gets to it . If you can lead the bird ( aim in front of it ) then most of your pattern will be on the head and neck ( easier to kill ) instead of hitting that well padded body .
Great work and getting it done Gents, if you get a moment head over to "The Mound Blind" on facebook and have a look at the new and game changer in field hunting blinds, its going to be epic... thanks

anytime you see guys sitting in an open field with a dinky blind like that, smashing birds. those birds have not been educated.
They're not as easy to kill as you might think. @@leatherbritches2061

The shooters at the duck pond were woeful. Your comments about their shooting was way too generous.
Lots of birds

Great vids but seeing lot of ducks hit but not killed, fly off and die slowly but I guess that’s duck shooting
nope , it is not leading the target a bit that is making them miss . Those birds are flying pretty fast , too .
It's a shame to see all that land locked up. Sad what waterfowl hunting has become
Wow 1 min of shooting and 30 of taliking about shooting …..
