Great video! We do the Jeep safari every year & its now jan 31. You got me excited for safari 2013! We take our '08 rubicon & 07 FJ cruiser. Not as well equipped as these vehicles but we're havin' fun in Moab for sure. Can't wait
are any of these stock motor and gears? I have a jk on 35's and don't think my motor can spin all 4 tires... is it maybe 4x4 lo that makes all the difference? im in Miami so we don't have rocks lol..
YES! They are all daily Drivers... in fact they all drove to MOAB and back home with no major carnage! The black one drove to and from Wisconsin and averaged 12 MPG. And yes they are all sponsored vehicles... different companies for each and several parts... the major sponsoring companies are Teraflex, Metal Cloak, Trek Armor, Powertank, ARB, and various others. At the time just green jeep was supercharged since then the Red Jeep also has been supercharged and all of them are on 40's.
That Commando didn't even look like it rolled after the recovery that is some very well build armor on it. And whats the deal with rear shock geometry on the black 4 door JK they look as if they would hit on everything???
I'm curious abut the snorkel in the hood of the black Jeep. Do you happen to have a webiste with pics of how you bult it, routed it? Lots of cool custom parts on that rig.
Excellent footage, and very nicely edited together. I'll always prefer the raw sound with out any music drowning it out, but hey, can't have it all, right?
Well, I have wheeled with alot... most people buy 4 doors because they are convenient for every day life... very few would argue that they are better for wheeling. A 2 door you can get away with less lift and smaller tires where a 4 door you kind of need to go big so the breakover angle doesn't kill you. I think most hard core JK drivers would agree a 2 door stretched 8-12" would be the best bet off road.
I love to drive manuals, and if I ever were to get a jeep I would prefer to have it as a manual--but Is it more advantageous to have an automatic transmission for these situations?
It is most beneficial in crawling to have an automatic. Those who love manuals would argue that it does not matter. I prefer a manual but cannot argue the clear luxury benefit of auto's in a climbing/crawling situation. Comes down to preference.
there are good and bad sides to both the 2 and 4. the 2 is good for tight places and for its breakover angles and less lift required, the 4 is good for on road and some off road situations like steep hills and ditches. i chose the 4 door cause there isnt a lot of places to go rock crawling around where i live but there is mud and a tonne of trails and it seems to suite me just fine.
I did try to find a listing for a cow snorkel, but all I found is one for a sea cow snorkeling trip. Could you please post where you found your listing?
Nice vid, indeed... But song sucks! You didn't listen to when crawling? Please, let us choose if listening to music or crawling Thanks fir sharing this nice adventure
americanos ¡¡¡¡¡¡ en España los encanta los Jeep....una pena no disponer de todos los modelos americanos de Ford, Dogge y otros para adaptarles sus ejes jajjajjajaja saludos, buen vídeo.
I would never take my JK Wrangler on any of the hell tracks I'm to much of are scared y cat, but i bet the thrill you get once you have done these would be awesome.
There is a video on You Tube of a guy driving on Lions back recently. But in the middle of all his babbling about how he was going to die or something. he made the comment about he couldn't believe that he actually paid for the right(?) to do this. So is it possible that they are opening it on a fee basis? I did a bunch of searching and couldn't find anything out about it? Anybody have any further info they could post?
that roll near the end made me cringe. I definitely want to try some of these trails. Once I get more armor/rock protection. and doors strictly for wheelin.
@themantouf Actualy you're thinking of a COWL snorkel, not a COW snorkel. I have no idea what a COW snorkel is. COWL snorkels exit through the COWL. This snorkle exits through the HOOD, which is why I posted the question.
One of my favorite videos in youtube of all time!, must have watched it more than 20 times hehe
Awesome rigs, tracks, driving and music!
only 2 minutes in and this has been the best jeep vid i've seen in a while
Great video! We do the Jeep safari every year & its now jan 31. You got me excited for safari 2013! We take our '08 rubicon & 07 FJ cruiser. Not as well equipped as these vehicles but we're havin' fun in Moab for sure. Can't wait
Gr8!!!!no words to say. These vehicles r conquering, all the other cars can only dream of it..
this is why i love jeeps every jeep is personalized to what the owner wants not one is the same
Another great video that shows 4 door is > than 2 door jeeps with that extra wheel base.
Best soundtrack to a Jeep video anywhere on the web!
Normally I hate when music is on videos like this but this soundtrack was awesome haha nice rigs can't wait to get to Moab someday.
Man that looks fun great video I love it we just got a new 17 jk it's in the shop right now getting ready for the trails thanks for the video

Awesome video! Do any of these guys have build threads or anything like that anywhere? That "M1A1 Havoc" is familiar.
That Commando didn't even look like it rolled after the recovery that is some very well build armor on it. And whats the deal with rear shock geometry on the black 4 door JK they look as if they would hit on everything???
Great vid!!! Nice work on those trials!!! What lift size and tire size on the green jeep?
Tks
Yet they all look amazing. Love the post dude.

Great job on the movie!
Excellent footage, and very nicely edited together. I'll always prefer the raw sound with out any music drowning it out, but hey, can't have it all, right?
Do you guys mind me asking why the black jeep has a headset hanging in the rear? Do you guys use it for CB? Very interested!
very nice!!!...impressive!!!....please what rims do the green and black unlimited wear?
Awesome video. Thinking very seroiusly on putting 37" Tires and Teraflex 4" Suspension to my 2012 JK. Coming Soon...
What finders are in the black jk
what's with the rear socks on it
What kind of rollbar is on that black jeep?
JEEP with chevy hub cups ..... what a betrayal!!!!!!!
That black Jeep with the two LED small light bars is disgustingly bad-ass sexy!
What an adventure, loved it!
Bad ass jeeps guys!
Nice Rigs!
Camera guy at 12:24 has some stones to chill in front of a decending rig like that lol
Very big stones!!
How much it cost a car like that, will all the parts needed to crawl rocks?

Sawyer Spaulding
I figured. Thanks!
My jk is manual and I love it

Why does every car/truck/offroading/gun video on TH-cam HAVE to be ruined by music!?
Nice to see a JK that is manual. Don't see those too often.
Awesome video!! Jeepin for life!!
What kind of wheels do the black and light green JKs have?
At 4:18, what tires is he running? Does anyone know! I really like the aggressive tread! Would like to get some for myself!
What Lift Is On The Green Jk Teraflex 6'' Or 4'' Inch?
wonder if these are DDs.. and if all them are sponsored
what exhausts are these rigs running?
Thanks for putting this to some decent music!!!!!!!!!!!
I did try to find a listing for a cow snorkel, but all I found is one for a sea cow snorkeling trip. Could you please post where you found your listing?
4:25 What size are those tires? Thanks
Great music to wheel too!
Great video, Never wanted to by w keep until now
Thanks for picking some good music.
what are the fender flares on the black one 4:30
Best video ever, 2 thumbs up for you guys. must got some balls to go to the Hell gate :)
Great footage Ryan, really enjoyed it.. peace
What roof rack did he have at 3.51
great video... looks like a good time
lot of these guys could use lockers for sure to get up those steps without spinning a lot of tires.
Good vid
these are real toys and you guys (drivers )made it look easy ..seem the four door jeeps have an advantage ..longer wheelbase ...
they all have advantages and disadvantages.
Is that an intercooler I see on the Green 4 door? Awesome video! I love Moab!
That was awesome!
Nice vid, indeed... But song sucks!
You didn't listen to when crawling?
Please, let us choose if listening to music or crawling
Thanks fir sharing this nice adventure
what size lift & tire on the 2 dr ?
Is M1A1 - Havoc super charged or is it a diesel??
Awesome video!!
What lift do they have?
Nice vid. Looks like a fun group.
Well made video. Is that a Z link on that Black JK? @ 4:58 it sure looks like it.
Great video! The "Lions Back" part of the title is a bit misleading as it has been closed off and inaccessible for a few years now.
Love the 2 door...
Great Video !!
Hey man I love this video.
Nice video enjoy it alot and how do you get sponsors?
I didn't see me no Loins Back. But considering it's been closed for years, I guess that was to be expected. Nice video!
great rigs and vid
There are pros and cons. There are obstacles, where the length of a 4 door is better for, then there are some where the length of a 2 door is fine.
David's farm wont back down !!!!!!
Awesome vid, y'all!!!
Nice video!
OK Thats it!!!! I have decided on a Jeep. Time for overtime shifts.
americanos ¡¡¡¡¡¡ en España los encanta los Jeep....una pena no disponer de todos los modelos americanos de Ford, Dogge y otros para adaptarles sus ejes jajjajjajaja saludos, buen vídeo.
starting to think those longer wheel based jeeps are a little better
insane vid!!!
I would never take my JK Wrangler on any of the hell tracks I'm to much of are scared y cat, but i bet the thrill you get once you have done these would be awesome.
5:48 does anyone know the wheels on that black rig?
+iRACEmotocross247 spiderlock
supercharged jeep? SWEET!!!
Awesome!!!

gran espectáculo gran profecionalidad gran riesgo !!!!adelante valientes !!!1
Weight added from the heavier tires, rims, lift kit, etc. a stock jeep isn't that bad.
perfect music
the only downfall of the 2 doors are their amazing ability to want to roll backwards when not careful! lol
What is that nice Purr i hear from all of these babies in the first min?
Very, very expensive offroad vehicles. Although, if I had the money, I'd do the same thing! haha
like the 4 door jeeps for that reason but i could never get rid of my 2 door JK.
weight distribution(balance), larger wheelbase, more space inside for stuff who knows maybe its just cause of the look
look up on river raider site it wont let me post it then go in snorkel section it'called JK expedition snorkel
UHH !!! ?? That was NOT Tip-Over Challenge ... and Lions Back has been closed since 2007 ...
NICE!
great video. i actualy watched the whole thing lol. music could be upgraded lol but awsome vid
Those are not Jeeps they are just JK's so the music did not cover anything to be missed .
that roll near the end made me cringe. I definitely want to try some of these trails. Once I get more armor/rock protection. and doors strictly for wheelin.
Says something about copyright enforcement. Won't let me play
@themantouf Actualy you're thinking of a COWL snorkel, not a COW snorkel. I have no idea what a COW snorkel is. COWL snorkels exit through the COWL. This snorkle exits through the HOOD, which is why I posted the question.
black jeep was on it!
