This worked like a charm! The only thing I would say, is make sure you have a decent length screwdriver bit (I used PH000), as the holes are DEEP, and my electric screwdriver bits were 1mm - 2mm too short to reach into the external case screw holes and the 1 deeply recessed internal one. The cases look PHENOMENAL though. Big shoutout to TTS for this. He is really active on the Discord Server too, and helped me out with my Pwnagotchi project too!

I was curious if the colored one is done via the pcbway "dyeing" option for the transparent spray varnish, or if there are other settings you recommend to get the translucent colored case. Sorry if I missed it in the video!

Hey!! Version 3.1 doesn't require the acrylic screen, nice upgrade if you are printing transparent. I have a question, what material do you recommend for the shell to look like the original black flipper shell?
Flawless move over from the white to the clear case. However, as soon as I had first ordered my flipper zero I would always notice a rattling noise inside of it and people had said oh it was just the Pogo pins were loose or something but come to find out taking it apart. I never had my third center Pogo pen installed. It's just been floating in the middle. Is there any way for me to properly solder this back on? It still works with just two Pogo pins, but it would be nice to have the third one attached back

If you use nano tape as the adhesive replacement, it should be totally clear/invisible. But the thinnest version I know of is 1mm thick, would that still fit?
Did you test the effective NFC range while disassembled? Would be interesting to know. But I might give it a try, maybe I can find a thinner tape version as well, will order a few cases for me and my mates and we will see if it works and how it will look like.

I've been downing zips and the problem with flipper zero is there updates not fitting right 😂 with Bluetooth and location on found out using that can be hacked around your surroundings not safe at all then you'll have a flipper freeze not working

Can someone please help me? When taking the back apart, I accidentally stripped the screws so I had to break the back shell off and while doing that I accidentally broke the back pins, am I able to reattach those somehow? Maybe heating up bottom of the pin and reattching it? The pins came of very cleanly, so I assume this is possible?
How much interference do you think you would get if you made it with a titanium backplate instead of clear?? I'm assuming it would only be for the pins on the back.
I wonder if someone like myself could ask for someone else to print it for a commission? You've got a few shells lying around maybe, and cash is still king right? I was also just about to see if this white shell could have an airbrush taken to it. Anyone tried that yet? I've got all the stuff to make very cool custom paint, and have a real nice airbrush kit, i'm just not sure if the plastic will reject the paint. I've built model kits for about 20 years now so...

awsome video, just swapped my 2 flippers to a green and orange clear case, pcbway delivered before christmas excelent quality.

I tried with the PWR black. The print looks awesome, but it warps very easily just being in your pocket. It doesn't take much heat to warp..
This makes me feel like the hatchet was thrown down and I should try to make my own model. 😂

It can change, usually for things like custom colors. That's the price I've seen most people paying
