- The sweet sound of rug making!
Welcome to my 6th rug tufting video! Thank you for taking the time to watch and for checking out the description.
I absolutely loved watching Cyberpunk Edgerunners when it first came out and after re-watching it with my partner, I just had to make a dedicated rug for it. The ending always hits me with the feels and I love the song 'I really want to stay at your house' so made sure to listen to it many many times while making this one lol. This one took me quite a while to shave, I'd say roughly 10 hours or more. I have a new ring light so I hope it has made the video's look much better, I am still trying to play with new camera angles to get the best view of the processes. Materials Used:
- Primary Tufting Cloth (Monks Cloth)
- DK (Double Knit) Yarn 100g each (I used 18 total. 4 Black, 2 White, 6 Green, 5 Yellow, 1 Pink)
- EVO-STIK Adhesive Glue (For gluing the back)
- Hot Glue Sticks (For the edges)
- Rug Backing Fabric (Black Felt)
- Bond it Strong Spray Adhesive (For gluing the backing on)
- Black Twill Tape (20mm)

What’s the size of that rug?

How long did this take ?
@@TysonCharles-r5n I work full time so worked on it a few hours a day spread over 3-4 weeks 😀 I'd probably guess about 30-40 hours ✨
Where you get your 1/1 tag you put on the back ?
I ordered them online from Wunderlabel 😊
What are those white things you're using to hold the canvas?
@@brandoncowan I'm currently using a metal Tufting frame which uses the plastic clips to hold the cloth to the frame instead of nails/tacks on a wooden one 😊 Hope this helps!

What size would you recommend
No worries, I got the bigger one as I wanted to make bigger designs up to roughly 100X100cm. I also didn't have anything to attach the frame to for the smaller one so it's probably just personal preference ☺️
