    Your videos are fantastic, obsidian is changing my life as somebody with long term memory problems but I found it so overwhelming. I found your channel through your really old series about the program and I'm so happy you're still making content. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
    It helps so much seeing how you actually use it, I'm working on copying your setup step by step.

    Yes! Would love to see a CRM video as well! Thank you for referencing MonicaCRM! I've always wanted a way to help me remember key details from relationships of the people I love so I don't forget important things and reminders to reach out on important milestones! So cool!

    Would love a CRM video from you from the aspect of a personal relationship as I too can get knee-deep into work and not reach out to friends and family as often as I should not even realizing how much time has passed. Thank you so much for your content. I can't thank you enough for the value your content has added to my productivity.

    Thanks Sergio! Personal relationship CRM would be really useful for me, I'm terrible at keeping up with people. I have notifications in Todoist to call folks but honestly I hit the "tomorrow" button most of the time

      When I began using obsidian I was already no longer a student for multiple years. It would have been truly extraordinary to have had it at the time, but instead all I had was Evernote :(. Because of this I'm not yet sure I'll make an obsidian for students guide as I would rather talk about what I have direct experience with!

    I would LOVE a video on using Obsidian as a personal CRM!! I've been trying to create my own system but am not satisfied. I have notes for people (or couples/families) and link to them in my daily notes when I interact with them. I've been trying to use the Influx plugin to show me a list of paragraphs with links to the people notes but have no idea how to use regex to include or exclude folders in my vault (not even sure if that's possible with that plugin). And I don't want Influx to show up on every single note in my Obsidian vault. I also have a dataview chart listing "last-visit" where I have manually added the date of my last interaction with the person (and can see at a glance who I have most recently interacted with), but I'd love to not have to go into each 'person' note and update that manually and would prefer it to auto-magically link. :) Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for your excellent content!

    Hey great yearly overview! Thanks again! I am very curious about your workflow for courses. I have been meaning to create a template for things like my online courses, masterclasses and lectures - but I haven't found a way to transfer my 'paper workflow' into Obsidian yet. Any change you can also make a future video dedicated to online learning formats like those? And an absolute Yes on MonicaCRM in Obsidan! Best wishes for 2023!

    I’m only starting to use Obsidian, and most of my time has been spent on the autistic-deep dive of learning about it before using it. I have short term memory issues (let’s be real, also long term) from a car accident years ago as well as the inevitable brain issues of aging and chronic stress. The more I look in to Obsidian, the more I feel like it would be such a smart thing to take in to schools, maybe starting around 5th grade, as well as for older people to learn, to start a personal memory base to use in case of all-too-common health issues. Be it a head injury when younger, or even amnesia or early alzheimers. To be able to know that there is somewhere to reference your own thoughts and remember things that are fleeting, is one of the main reasons I’m really diving in to this. Also…. as a memorial. What better way to be known to the people left behind, than a graph that shows what you thought about most?

    I have to ask this: Do you technically speed up your narration on your videos? If not, how do you talk so fast without getting tongue tied? Do you have to practice? If so, I like it. The pace of the videos is just right; You cover so much, very concisely. Great editing too!

    • @FromSergio
      @FromSergio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rene and thanks! I don't speed it up, and I'm glad you enjoy it as not everyone does, I do speak naturally faster and I actually do a conscious effort to speak slower on videos. I'm just like you and prefer faster paced content, which is probably why I gravitate towards it myself :) Thanks for the kind words, they're super appreciated!

    • @ReneDiazJD
      @ReneDiazJD ปีที่แล้ว

      I want to share something amusing: On most other youtube channels by other creators, I watch them at 1.25 speed.
      But when I can concentrate, I watch yours at normal speed. But, when I cannot concentrate, like watching as I get ready in the morning, I watch your videos at 0.75 speed, and it sounds like normal speed on other channels. So, I conclude you speak 25 % faster than most other channels! I love Obsidian, I just subscribed to your news letter, looking forward.

    Hey Serg! This video is marvelous. A lot to digest. Terrible those landscapes for taking a walk! Thanks for creating and sharing. Many points you refer are quite interesting.
    Regarding habits, I'm still trying to create adherence on daily notes (for the day). Once I achieve it, I would like to implement monthly and yearly just as you do. I suffer of such a poor memory, barely pathological, thus I tend to register many, many things. To create a diary would fit great for me. But it is so hard to make adherence.
    You mentioned Monica. First time I meet this software. Rapidly, I reached the docker image. The temptation of deploying it is quite big, haha. But I'll wait to see your solution on migrating/integrating Monica to Obsidian. Nowadays, I'm creating notes preceding by '@' for people, but are bare templates, nothing more than a few words on the person.
    To finish, I'm glad you create a substack! I just subscribed to it. I'm waiting for the first publication to create a rule on my mail to resend it to my reader readwise! Nice initiative.
    Man, meet your channel this 2022 was great. Our workflows are quite close. I do like the videos you create. Thank you for your work filled with such a motivation and interest. I do wish you a great 2023 and I hope you achieve all your goals.

    • @FromSergio
      @FromSergio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fuentes! Love reading your comments :) you've been nothing but supportive with insightful feedback!
      A lot of my daily note is just habit tracking and occasionally registering a worthy event, I also suffer from poor memory unfortunately so we're on the same boat!
      Monica is amazing. It's been over a year since i've been using it. I'd love to port it into obsidian but the containerized version is so good that I find it hard to replicate. It would also fail to send alerts, at least seamlessly.
      Thanks for signing up! I'm very excited about it :)
      Wishing you a great 2023, thanks for all the support you've shown once again! :)
