The hearthstone anime protagonist will start as a zoo warlock prodigy (we thought it's a control class but he's playing aggressively l) and then when his grandfathers hearthstone is stolen he fights the Reddit tech pile, top decking doom guar but instead of discarding cards he makes a blood pact to save his grandpa transforming into bloodreaver guldan and resummoning all his demons with charge for lethal And his Italian best friend plays casino mage
Omg, the discussion about a hearthstone anime got my head running wild with so many ideas. One I liked was that maybe everyone starts out with fully basic decks, and you have to go around to tournaments or maybe beat some kind of pokemon gym leader equivalent to get higher rarity cards. I know a show like this would never be made but there are so many routes you could take with this idea and it's fun to think about
Another major negative of calling a deck brainless, broken, or unbeatable is the admittance of defeat. An unhealthy mindset even in a semi-competitive format can make a game lost before it even starts. Going into it with an understanding it may be a bad matchup but paying attention to your opponent's patterns or having enough experience against their deck will let you win much more often. The best thing to do after a game is over is to try and think about how you could have won or how you could win harder next time you fight that deck. Saying "it's just brainless" may feel good in the moment, but is terrible if you're looking for long term success.
This certainly was a deck of all time. I see you even went as far as including some of the cards of all time and the hands and buffs of all time. We truly are in an age of letting Marshie cook.
Hi Marshie, I wanna thank you for always sticking up to people who like aggro. It gets a lot of flack, but it's very enjoyable to play it from time to time. Thank you for supporting all players, Marshie ^^
The real answer is a teacher for the hearthstone anime. Someone who teaches students between all the different houses, while helping the student body learn that each house is important
Egg hunter with Devilsaur Egg was tier 1. It also had Deathstalker Rexxar, which is the only time that card was any good. Probably why I still remember that deck.
Some decks will have more influence from the pilot than others, cubelock was notorious for its steep learning curve skewing down the overall winrate when it was in fact a monster.
It's Midrange. A card game protagonist cannot have an overarching strategy, and must be centered around using a plethora of board based answers to slug out to their boss; who then gets a lot of specific tech associated to their core gimmick, used to then eventually beat over more collected strategies.
the protag would definitely play combo/control decks, there could be some great tension moments where they combo too early and can't quite get lethal, or maybe they miscount and have to search for the one card in their deck which would win them the game. They would be friends with a charge druid player who has terrible luck and never draws what he needs to. The big priest player would be an old mentor, somebody who used to be far more powerful.
It would have to be control because they could stack up the unassailable advantage for our aggro underdog to overcome. Combo and swarm decks would be mid tier antagonists who are defeated by one weird tech card or board clear the protagonist randomly decided to slot in that day
A combo player would have the most dramatic tension, they can go from down and out, all hope is lost, to winning the game with a perfect topdeck. But that might get old after a while, so maybe it's just a mid-season Uther Paladin arc
My favorite easter egg of Yugioh GX is how the colors are ranked. Obelisk Blue are for the strongest players because that was Kaiba’s Egyptian God card. And Slifer Red is the weakest class because it was Yugi’s 😂
i think we have one gym leader who is an edgy teenager aggro player and another who is an old turtle of a man who plays mega slow control. And the hero is the one who has to learn the ways of all archetypes to counter Q
I always focus when playing and find contrôle decks easier to play than aggro decks. Even more so in aggro mirror (those are the worst mu for me by faaar)
What’s Your favorite posish? Thats cool with me, it’s not my favorite but I’ll do it for you. Whats your favorite dish? I’m not gonna cook it but I’ll order it from ZANZIBARRRR
sometimes even when i think i just play bad, i think i'm just a bad player at this point lol, i'm fine with my reno shudderwock shaman where i just play a bunch of funny battlecries and then get my shudder ratted out of my hand and press the big red button to go into another game and do the same
Dangit, you done and forced the fanfic writer hat on my head. For context: I only watch Hearthstone, got burned out on playing when they released the first Marin the Fox. Wall of text incoming, I apologise for nothing. So, for starters, what do the characters need? To be recognisable, they need gimmicks, and preferably a single card they can be associated with. Because of how Hearthstone works, they also need one-drops in their deck, otherwise the first turns will always be nothing. For tension, they also need comeback mechanics. Given that, the main protagonist? I give you: Marshal Boon. Should be a character that embodies teamwork, friendship, and who has a deck with many potential plays, lots of variety. What does that? Current version of Menagery Warrior, of course, running Amalgam. Amalgam can be the protagonist's signature card, and the variety comes in the many different ways it can be buffed. Having a lot of different types of minions allows for variety in plays, and deck evolution. Tension can come from Amalgam being Polymorphed, from bad draws. Comeback mechanics can be rush+cleave and lifesteal, as well as Voone being a value engine. Secondary protagonist: the 'Hermione.' Female character who aspires to be the best Mage player ever, the one who idolises a particular Mage player. You know... "I wanna be just like you!" sort of character. Deck type? Different iterations on Questline Mage. Her signature card is the one she idolises: Magister Dawngrasp. In the anime, Dawngrasp cards would be based on a player, the same way certain Magic cards are printed with the likenesses of champions. Her character arc can be that she stops relying on summing Magister and switches to Hero Power Mage, changing her turn one play with a declaration of "I will find my own power!" or something along those cheesy lines. Her revenge on players who humiliated her can come when she upgrades to Hostage Mage, and runs the Hero card as a way to say she's confident enough to take on champs. Cross-reference with Roronoa Zoro and Hawkeye Mihawk. Tension can come from her losing damage to stifle early aggro, missing combo pieces, or disruption. Comeback mechanics are basically one-turn kills, such as through repeated Ignite draws. Third protagonist: the sick cynic, working title "Barthur". A pale, sickly looking kid who has some breathing problem or another, because we can't have a show about a children's card game without some drama. Got into the game because it was something to do while he was sick, since... you gotta have a character for whom the game actually matters personally in these shows, something sentimental to offset the action. He plays, of course, Plague Death Knight. More straightforward, sort of a 'my pain made me who I am' edgy kid. Loses a lot because 'they never draw their plagues.' Signature card: Helya, and Primus. So, potential antagonists? The main antagonist: a player who is hyper-focused on consistency and only wants to use the single 'best' card to win each game, recurring it over and over. This is the opposite of Marshal, and as such he runs Automaton Priest, the one with only three minions to return. The philosophical debate between the two (because, again, you have to have that in these shows) is whether variety of potential outs matters more than consistency of the deck. Can include an arc where he tempts the Hermione into using a Lightshow deck, which eventually gets her to use Hostage Mage. The Captain Planet villain. Runs Sludge Warlock, is somehow responsible for the third protagonist being sick. Because you gotta have a Captain Planet villain in there somewhere, it's a rule. President Ace, who is currently in a hole somewhere. A retired player who enjoyed grindy decks so much it drove him mad. Eventually, people got so annoyed they tried to shoot him at tournaments, twice. Runs Dead Man's Hand Warrior, but has no win conditions because he 'doesn't like it when games end.' This can be a redeemable protagonist, returning but in a weaker state, because he always takes value plays. Benjamin Broadside. A wacky developer of the game. Runs Pirate Rogue. Funny Bunny. A TH-camr and teacher who runs Wolpertinger Hunter unironically. Appreciates the main protagonist's playstyle, a respectable antagonist. And lastly, the founder of the Hearthstone Academy where this would take place: Seito Kibler. Runs anything with Dragons in it, thinks they're the best. Somehow it becomes relevant that the main character's Amalgam is also a Dragon. Feel free to jam this into any text generator to come up with plotlines, I'm sure there's an app for that somewhere.

One of the comments of all time
It’s still crazy to me that sancazel isn’t playable in handbuff paladin
Why not?
Love the tenacious D song you talk about in the second game 15:54, its definetly a very romatic song of all time

Martian Buu, Virtuous Painter sounds like an upcoming Paladin hero card

You can tell Marshy has entered his Keanu Reeves era of refusing to argue with people. "If you say so."
Egg hunter with Devilsaur Egg was tier 1. It also had Deathstalker Rexxar, which is the only time that card was any good. Probably why I still remember that deck.
@@mediocrechicken I seem to recall Rexxar being good in Dane’s Reno Hunter before Reno decks were this big
Perhaps the deck of all time was the handbuffs we found along the way
Some decks will have more influence from the pilot than others, cubelock was notorious for its steep learning curve skewing down the overall winrate when it was in fact a monster.

Love the flow of the last game!
18:59 the jank combo player. The one with knuckles hunter.
definitely this version of the deck is better than the others that are not as good, but sadly its worse then the ones that are better than it
“May the light grant you piss.” - irate Knight of Anointment
Thankfully I added the all mighty Stinkefinger to my etc "intense music starts playing"
Keep up the good work, Martian
The main protagonist would definitely play miracle rogue. All his friends would play Whizbang and the 50 card Legendary deck.
It would have to be control because they could stack up the unassailable advantage for our aggro underdog to overcome. Combo and swarm decks would be mid tier antagonists who are defeated by one weird tech card or board clear the protagonist randomly decided to slot in that day
The hearthstone ended up being the friends we made along the way
mc in hearthstone anime is either gonna a mid range stat is good character or running a wacky highlander deck where zephrys bails him out every game
I dont know what our protagonist plays, but i know for sure our rival Kaiba-esque character plays a time warp deck
Marshie in his depression arc?!
Truly the deck of all time

hey marint i think this deck is a little weak to combo, have you considered running more tech?
martj would clumsy steward still be in the deck if you could run 3rd razor?
Probably not, not my list I wouldnt run it at all lol
I only want the anime if we have special effects like in the Amazing LP channel (see their Luna's Pocket Galaxy card reveal for reference).
My favorite easter egg of Yugioh GX is how the colors are ranked. Obelisk Blue are for the strongest players because that was Kaiba’s Egyptian God card. And Slifer Red is the weakest class because it was Yugi’s 😂
Another riveting game of Chumbostone
The star of the show would definitely be an even dh
The fan service of the anime would give an unreasonable over-representation of Platebreaker and stickyfingers.
Well now I want an Hearthstone anime
nice handbuffs u got here Marshie :)
i think we have one gym leader who is an edgy teenager aggro player and another who is an old turtle of a man who plays mega slow control. And the hero is the one who has to learn the ways of all archetypes to counter Q
Look within to find, that you were actually the deck of all time

To follow up on "brainless" conversation. When someone's botting in hs they usually run hyper-agro. To me that's indicative enough
Bots play those decks horribly, Wild being infested with bots was proof that calling aggro brainless was just bias.
Now that you are caught up, should we be expecting a new stream tomorrow?
Im actually thinking of posting a meta commentary vid tomorrow. Stream thurs if not weds though.
@@MartianBuu thanks
👍👌
i played handbuff paladin but my hands didnt become buff.... such a scam
Commenting to help the vid, if your deck only does one thing that doesn't mean it's aggro. Still fun though.
9:02 he cannot miss
go kingsbane rouge
I cant look at cards
This might me the most boring deck you made into this channel. I mean, wow!
