39:37 In fact, the controller brings more confidence, because if you shake in a game, if you play on the controller it doesn't affect you much, while on the keyboard shaking your hands means losing.
Ngl I don’t think this is true. If you’re shaking because of nerves, you’re going to play worse and have a better chance of losing regardless of what u play on. It’s not a controller or keyboard thing.
@@dynisty3929 It may not seem like it but it does make a difference, I don't know why but playing on the controller shaking nervously is better than playing shaking on the keyboard, don't ask me why but it's real
@@dynisty3929 I can explain it, and it's mostly due to the fact that when you have bad nerves with a sensitive keyboard, you can misinput much easier due to either subconciously avoiding resting your fingers on the keys or because of tiredness, controller at least for me feels easier because I have to think less about how to move my fingers and they rest ontop my buttons all the time when im playing whereas with my keyboard I keep them lifted just incase I accidentally press it due to nerves, then again this is coming from my experience with Injustic and MKX, I never tried controller with brawl yet
@@rick7122 I can see where you're coming from with this reply, but I still think that bad nerves coupled with fast gameplay can make it just as easy to misinput on controller than on keyboard. When you're playing a fighter, you still have to put a lot of thought into how you move regardless of what you're playing on. If you have a good understanding of your choice of input device (controller or keyboard), then making precise movements on controller is just as difficult as making precise movements on keyboard. "Thinking less" about how to move on one over may just mean that you're more comfortable on that option at the moment. Yes they both have their pros and cons such as "sweaty hands" on controller or like you said having an oversensitive keyboard causing you to misinput, but ultimately it comes down to the individual playing, one input device is not objectively better than the other.
