Lewis Hamilton was only F1 driver with a USA following due He is only driver who does stuff outside the sport

They need what joe rogan does with his pod cast, he wears the headphones because if its the same audio level it’ll make talking over each other less, I explained it terribly but you get the gist.

When Hecz asked if he’s ever been in an accident and Lando says “Spa” and they just have blank looks. The kid had one of the biggest scariest crashes at one of the most famous tracks that was so bad they changed the turn profile. And Lando is trying to explain it like they are a bunch of toddlers.

Less than 10 minutes in and tapping out, Lando has barely spoken and the dudes to the right and left of him are on a D measuring contest. But great for them to give him a platform and vice versa.

Great crossover and everything, really loved being able to watch my 2 biggest "hobbies" come together. But next time you have someone this famous you should let Hitch run the podcast, I love HECZ but he just talks to much about himself and/or cod so it comes out as disrespectful to the guest. Same happens with scump, which I would probably prefer someone like BigT or even Formal to replace him with since they are better at talking of other people unlike Seth, who brings a style of conversation that only really suits in if everyone in the podcast knows the cod scene. Honestly if Zin was there it would have probably been better if he was in the podcast cause he's also said he's watches a bit of F1 in the past. Sebas I think made a really good job though and came out as very respectful since he was pretty much the only one bringing Lando into the convo. I understand they want the biggest faces of OpTic (HECZ and Scump) to be in the podcast with such a famous person, but it unfortunately doesn't suit the situation. I'm sure you'll improve in the future and ofcourse hope to see more "celebrities" come to the podcast! 😊
I don't think they really understand how famous/big stars F1 drivers are.
Netflix doc really just started F1 following in the US, they must think F1 drivers are "new generation stars", they must not know they've been WORLD stars for decades, ike football and basketball players
@@Cant111 True, but thats also kind of the issue. They didn't have enough respect towards the guest to the point of learning at least a bit about F1 before the podcast. Something that I could very much see someone like Hitch or BigT doing. But even then, Seth and Hecz are just personalities that just talk a lot about themselves or cod, that works wonders if it's just a chill podcast with no guests, but doesn't work at all and comes out as disrespectful if there are guests

I really hope the Optic boys know how lucky they are to have Lando on the podcast. As much of a feat Optic has done for gaming around the world, having a Formula 1 driver the calibre of Lando in their presence is like having a top Olympian or Football (soccer) player on the podcast. F1 is a behemoth and is a leading light in the sporting world where there are only 20 people in the world talented enough to make the cut. For me this will become a heritage and milestone moment for Optic. Long live Optic Gaming and all who can call themselves part of the Greenwall!

Don’t know if anyone will care to read this but my two cents on how I think it could improve
Hector: invest some of that time “not doing anything” into researching your guests if you have another celebrity or athlete like Lando again, just putting that effort into knowing about them helps for a better episode.
-letting the guest have more of the spotlight and talk about experiences, sharing stories
I think Sebas did a great job shifting focus back on to Lando when hector and Seth would go off topic and talk
